Ahh, Sumia. That picture pretty much sums up my feelings with wearing her. The first time I wore her to a con, everything that could have went wrong, did. Armor broke, straps ripped off, velro wouldn't stick, hairpiece was so heavy the wig kept moving off my head, feet got destroyed by my shoes...this costume seemed cursed. And at the end of the day, things were literally hot glued and pinned to my skin to keep them in place.
It took about a month of repair work before I felt I could deal with this costume again- I completely remade sets of the armor, made better fitting gloves, redid the buckle system among a ton of other things. It still takes two people to get me fully into it and I feel like this costume is forever going to be one of those "work-in-progress" ones, but I'm slowly beginning to enjoy wearing her again.
