Hello world! I wanted to take a moment introduce myself to some and reintroduce myself to others. My name is Elisa and I am the voice and creator of Coffee with Mom. Coffee with Mom began out of necessity. I was in need of a way to share not just my passion for motherhood but also as a vehicle to share the many amazing stories of the women who have impacted my life. After opening my life and thoughts up to the world it evolved into a platform for the experiences and inner workings of not just mothers but women as a whole. I wanted a place where the conversations women share about life, love, motherhood and struggle could be discussed and examined on a public forum. The name derived from the fact that these conversations were often shared with my own mother over a mug of something we love surrounded by acceptance and support. I wanted to share that experience of non judgmental honesty with women everywhere and a blog was born! Being a woman means wearing many hats from mother, to daughter, sister and friend , all the way to provider, therapist, nurturer, and mogul and Coffee with Mom is a place where all of those hats can be examined and supported.
