“and now i know who they are! but i can’t choose a bias. they’re all sort of intimidating, but in a good way? kinda? i feel like if i looked at them for too long i’d turn to stone or just- straight up drop dead or something. but regardless! they’re really cool and i’m working on trying to catch up on their discography.”
“speaking of their discography, did you know they used to be soundcloud rappers?” he sticker a giggle, “i mean, humble beginnings, i respect that, but i didn’t expect it! but honestly? their old stuff kinda slaps, i don’t usually listen to a lot of rap or hip hop or whatever, but i really like it!”
“okay now that i’m thinking about it a bit, i think my bias is either cato or near. cato because like- come on, he’s literally the most gorgeous man i’ve ever seen. and near because i like his vibe! he seems like he’d just be fun to hang around, you know?”
“that being said, the other members still intimidate the heck outta me. maybe i just gotta meet them. i dunno. they probably wouldn’t like me, they’d be like ‘who’s this manlet?’ or something, i dunno. i’d still wanna meet them though, i have like two friends please.”

“aaanyways, i saw that they were adding new members, and i kinda just thought, ‘i was so close to getting into them before, they seem kinda cool! maybe i should check them out!’ completely disregarding that one of the former members is in jail, but good music is good music! honestly i don’t know if i should be supporting their old music still, but i’m gonna be honest, i listen to dark circle every day.”
“so anyways, WOAH. full 180 in concept, from what i gathered they were more girly and cutesy before? now they’re like- darkish and their choreography is- woah. not judging! love me some queerbaiting as we all do!”
“i can’t choose a bias! sang is so cool, like, really cool. gun seems like a cool guy! i think he’s a little under appreciated, he’s got potential. i knew about yinyin from that thing over at jyp? the uh- the venus pick! that’s what it was! i was rooting for her, she seems really cool. and like- i just wanna be friends with haneul, she seems super genuine but i can only assume she’s been through a lot lately.”
he looked down solemnly for just a second, before looking back up again with a bright smile on his face, “look them up! check them out! some of the... things that have happened to them in the past may be a bit off putting, but you won’t regret it!”
