Leverage has a 'the office' style episode. nobody's doing it like them. this is what we mean when we say we want the 20 episodes seasons because they left so much room for exploring the characters even in different styles. sure it's not a format for every kind of story, you can't have a tragic story with a funny filler, it be out of context, but those shows that are a bit lighter would benifit so much from having more space
