As your feet crunched through the snow underfoot, you buried your hands in your pockets to keep them warm.
The others marched in front of you, bickering with each other about nothing as the stress of the con finally sank in. Most everything went wrong and everyone was tired and ready to fly home.
"Look look-" Sophie began, stopping as she lifted her hands up "The con is done, it may have gone wrong in a lot of ways, but it's done. We won, I know we are all tired, but let's stop bickering please."
As Sophie talked, attempting to calm the team down, you looked down at the snow. Sliding your foot around in it, an idea popped into your head as you looked back up at the stressed faces of the others. It could go very wrong, or exactly right.
"Well what do you want us to do Sophie?" Parker asked, her voice on edge.
"We just need to find something to do that will relieve some of this stress we've built up from the con."
Finally speaking up, you kept your eyes locked on Sophie. "I couldn't agree more!"
As Sophie spun around, a smile on her face as she began to thank you for agreeing with her, her face quickly morphed into that of surprise when a wad of snow smashed against her chest.
You saw the other's faces twist with surprise as some of them held back startled laughs.
Sophie stared at you for a moment, stunned. Quickly, she reached down and began grabbing a handful of snow
"How dare you!" She began, though you saw the smile she was attempting to hide.
Grinning as you stepped back, dodging the poorly formed snowball she threw at you.
"Snowball fight!" Parker suddenly yelled as he began scooping up snow.
"Oh, oh, we doin' this?" Hardison asked before he quickly scooped up some snow as well.
Seeing the stress immedietely disperse from their faces, Sophie looked back at you and smiled with a soft nod of her head. You smiled in return, noticing Harry winding up his arm behind her.
"Uh oh.' You muttered out.
As a snowball hit the back of her head, she turned around with a gasp.
"Oop-" Harry mumbled out, quickly running as Sophie began to chase him.
"Dammit Hardison!" Eliot yelled as Hardison dumped an armful of snow onto Eliot's back.
You let out a yelp of alarm as a snowball hit you in the arm as Parker ran towards you. You couldn't hold back your laugh as you quickly ran away, grabbing snow in the process.
Retaliating with a snowball, Parker yelled in glee as the snowball hit her square in the stomach, followed by one hitting her back from Breanna.
Throwing a snowball at Breanna, she pointed at you, with a challenging glare as she threw her own.
Just dodging the snowball that glided past your head, you ran around to a bench, using it as a shield. Being preoccupied with Breanna's assault on you, you failed to notice Hardison joining the fray, and Eliot nowhere to be seen.
As you arched your arm back to throw a snowball, arms looped around your waist, followed by a yell. You yelped in surprise, recognizing Eliot's presence, you laughed as he pulled you into the air.
"Trying to hide huh?" He asked, amusement lacing his voice.
"Hey!" You laughed out as you threw back the snow that had been in your hand.
You heard Eliot sputter out as the snow spread across his face.
"You little-" Bringing you down to the ground with a thud, you let out an alarmed laugh as Eliot began piling snow on top of you.
"No, Eliot!" You yelled out between laughs as you attempted to retaliate by throwing the snow back at Eliot.
He chuckled as he tried pinning your arms down. Both of you flinched as a bombardment of snowballs came flying at you.
"Hey!" Eliot yelled as he looked over, seeing all of the others peppering the two of you with snowballs.
"That's not fair!" You yelled, rising from the ground as Eliot let you go.
Eliot shifted from trying to drown you in snow, to holding out his arm to smack the snow away as it flew towards you.
Quickly, the two of you started grabbing snow, quickly firing at the others, making them laugh and run away.
As they fled, continuing their attacks on one another, Eliot looked back at you, a smile stretched along his face.
"Snowball fight was a smart distraction."
You shrugged with a smile "Seemed like a good idea in the moment."
Reaching his hand up, he brushed snow from your head before he gently grabbed your scarf and pulled you closer to him.
"It was." He said softly before pressing a soft kiss to your lips.
Pulling away, he smirked and motioned his head towards the others as he spoke "Now, what do you say we teach these punks a lesson."
You grinned and nodded "Sound's good to me."
As you and Eliot loaded up your arms with snowballs, you ran towards the others. Spotting you, they all yelled in surprise, and turned their attention to you as they attempted to dodge your attacks.
None of you cared about the looks and attention you got from passerby's, as the tension and stress from the con melted away, and was replaced by joy and fun.
xx End xx
Short but sweet!

Hey, do you still write reader inserts for Leverage? If so could I maybe get a fic set in-between Leverage season 5 and Leverage Redemption season 1, with a 16 year old female reader who tries pickpocketing Parker while the ot3 are out somewhere (not running a con), Parker obviously stops her and the ot3 start talking to the her and find out that she ran away from her terrible foster home and just needed money to eat, that hits them all in the feels (especially Parker) so they end up buying her lunch, one thing leads to another and she ends up unofficially adopted by the ot3. Wow, that's a lot (I'm still new to reader insert stuff so I hope this is an alright prompt)
Hello hello!!! Sorry this took me so long!!
Loved this request so thank you for sending it!! I did use gender neutral pronouns for the reader just because I feel more comfortable writing them! Sorry!
Pairing: Platonic! Eliot/Parker/Hardison x GN!Reader
Warnings: Hinted at child neglect/abuse
Word count: 1,557 words
Parker giggles as she leans back from taking a lick of Eliot's ice cream, reveling in the disgusted face he makes at her and the small “dammit Parker” that she gets from him, both of them knowing that there is no real malice behind his reaction. Just as she is about to lean in and do the same thing to Hardison’s ice cream, a young person, not much shorter than Parker herself, bumps into the three of them, causing them to split from being a threesome couple walking together, to Parker and Eliot on one side and Hardison on the other. Eliot and hardison both instantly exclaim, telling them to watch where they’re going but Parker just stops and watches the kid try to rush away with their head down, hood pulled up, obviously to try and hide who they are.
Before they can get too far, Parker is jogging up and stopping them with a hand on the shoulder, causing them to spin around and look at her like a deer in headlights. Parker notices that the kid is in clothes that dont fit quite right, the zip up hoodie theyre wearing is almost falling of their shoulders with how baggy it is, the length almost reaching their knees, the shirt underneath is just as baggy but tucked into trousers that swamp them, being held tightly on their waist by a belt and rolled up multiple times to sit at their ankles, the way they were walking also indicates that the shoes are a bit too big for them, everything clearly a hand me down from someone. Their eyes are darting around, clearly looking for an out, so Parker instantly lets go of them and takes a step back.
“I’m not gonna hurt you, but i would like my phone back please, and his wallet.” She says, motioning over her shoulder to Hardison who instantly starts patting down his pockets, looking for his wallet that isn’t there. The kid looks guilty and takes the phone and wallet out of her pocket and hands them back to Parker.
“Please don’t phone the police, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done it, I just need the money.” The kid rambles out, looking panicked at just the thought of the police being involved.
“Oh believe me, no police will be involved” Parker says, taking a second to look at the kid before speaking again. “Are you hungry?” She asks.
Before the kid even has a chance to speak, their stomach audibly growls, answering for them. Parker's face lights up “perfect! Lets go get lunch” she says, motioning for the kid to lead so her and the boys could walk behind them, giving them plenty of chances to run, making sure they don’t feel boxed in or trapped at all. They pause as they look at Parker, as if they’re trying to gauge if she’s serious or not, before they shoves their hands in her pockets, turning and walking away.
Parker grabs her boys and pulls them with her as she skips behind the kid, when she sees that the kid is actually heading towards a cafe and not running away, she hangs back slightly, pulling Eliot and Hardison in closer to her so she can whisper to them.
“This kid is clearly a foster kid, the clothes don’t fit, they’re skittish, afraid of the repercussions but not enough that they stop stealing. With a normal person they would’ve gotten away with what they took, they’ve been doing this a while,” Parker explains, cluing Hardison in on what Eliot has already started to put together.
“So, what do we do? Take them out for lunch? See what we can do to help?” Eliot asks, watching as the kid keeps glancing over their shoulder at the three of them.
“I mean, I could get in touch with Nana, see if she has room for another kid, but I don’t know how this one will feel about moving,” Hardison says, shrugging like it would be the easiest thing for him to do.
“Let’s start with lunch and see what happens,” Parker says, following the kid as they push their way into a small diner, they head to a table in the back corner of the room, slouching into a chair as if they’re trying to give off the air that they don’t care, but everything else about them screams that they’re on high alert.
Parker sits opposite them, noting how they sit in the chair in the aisle, allowing Hardison to sit next to them, making sure they’re not boxed in against the wall. Eliot grabs menus as he sits down, passing them out. Parker instantly dives into it, paying all of her attention to the desert menu. After giving the kid enough time to look at the menu, Parker finally speaks.
“So, do you come to this diner often?” She asks, not even having a chance to get a reply before the waitress comes over, who puts a hand on the kids shoulder with a smile, brushing pass how they flinch slightly
“Hey Y/N, how are you doing kiddo?” She asks, not even paying attention to the other three at the table.
“Hey Darcy, I’m okay, just showing some friends where to get the best food in town” Y/N says, entire personality seemingly changing, their back straightening as they smile at the waitress who giggles and slaps their shoulder “Always the charmer, kiddo, what can I get for you? Chocolate pancakes and an iced coffee?” She asks, writing it down when they nod with a smile. “And what about you three, what can I get for y’all?”
The other three order, Parker practically vibrating out of her seat as she orders the same as Y/N, the prospect of chocolate pancakes already kicking off a sugar high before she even lays her eyes on them.
It’s not until they’re all fed and watered that Parker decides to broach the delicate subject that’s on her mind.
“So, Y/N, who are you staying with at the moment?” She asks, watching how they instantly deflate “You don’t have to tell us names but if they’re terrible people, you don't have to stay with them.”
“You don’t get it, of course I have to stay with them, they put on a good show whenever anyone is around, but when it’s just us and them, us kids are lucky if we get fed.” They explain in a hushed voice, like they’re scared of people overhearing.
“We can get you out of there, and the other kids, you don't have to stay,” Hardison says in a soft voice.
“They have the local police in their back pocket, how?”
“We have our ways, we help those who need helping, its what we do” Hardison reassures them “Listen you don't have to say yes to us, but at least let us get you some new clothes, we can even set you up your own bank account so you have your own money, nothing that they can get their hands on”
Y/N looks between the three of them, trying to gauge just how sincere they are with their offers “You’re serious about this”
“Well, Parker and I, we know what it’s like being in shitty foster homes and Eliot just knows what it's like to be in a shitty home, no one should have to go through that, so if we can help even just one person, then we will. Now my Nana, she’s always got a house full of kids, but she always has room for one more, so if you do want to go somewhere welcoming, we can get you there..”
Y/N sit in thought for a minute, mulling over the proposition that has been presented to them, they rub their sweaty hands on their jeans before looking at Hardison and nodding.
“If you’re serious, I would like that, but I want to make sure they can’t get any more kids to replace us” They say, shifting in their seat when the waitress brings over the bill, digging into their pocket and pulling out some crumpled up notes. Before they can put them on the table, Parker shakes her head and picks up the bill “Our treat.” She says
“I can pay for myself” They protest
“But you don't have to” Eliot says, after being silent the whole time, he pulls some notes from his pocket and leaves them on the table, way more than what the bill cost.
“Come on, let's go get your stuff and the other kids, then we’ll get you sorted” Parker says, standing up.
So Y/N follows the three from the diner, waving to Darcy as they go, they go back to their foster home and get their things and their fellow kids, whilst Eliot keeps their foster parents in one room, making sure their complaints are kept to a minimum. Once they’re all out of the house, they’re taken to the brewpub where Hardison gets to work on getting in contact with Nana, who obviously welcomes the new kids with open arms, especially because Hardison is sending them. And if a few years later, Y/N is back with the three people who helped them get out, but this time working with them, well, that’s their business.
Everyone is pretty sure he doesn't have a soulmate he hadn't seen colours all throughout his time in the military and everyone knows not to comment on the fact that the military doesn't take people who can't see colour.
Eliot knows he won't get so lucky to have a soulmate so when you're introduced as a new team member he doesn't think twice about greeting you. Until he realizes his shirt and pants are two different colours and your eyes are such a bright shimmering he has to look away, hiding his face and hiding his smile.
"Y/N you okay??"
"Brown's my favourite colour." You laugh a little and everyone looks back to Eliot who's now managed to stand back up and nods to you like nothing has happened.
"No, no, no. See, you gotta hold the knife like this, otherwise you're gonna end up cutting yourself." He gently took your hand and adjusted your hold on the knife, standing behind you. "Feel that? Now you have better control of the knife and what it's doing."
You did your best to fight the warmth rising to your cheeks and nodded. When you first asked Eliot to teach you more about cooking, you hadn't thought through how close the two of you would be during the lessons.
He gave a small smile, moving back to his own cutting board next to you. "Okay, now for this recipe we need to julienne the chard, which means cutting it into long strips, like this." He slowly showed the technique before looking over at you. "Now you try."
You gave a determined nod and proceeded to cut the leafy green in a way somewhat reminiscent of a julienne.
You were going to make something delicious by the end of this even if it killed you!
*This is just some casual family-like fun with a little fluff thrown in
**I know Parker is really good at drawing/art, but I love the idea of her just being really bad at pumpkin carving lol.
-
"Okay, think we got enough pumpkins now?" Eliot asked as he set down the tenth pumpkin on the table with an annoyed sigh as he dusted off and wiped his hands clean.
You smiled in amusement as Parker practically skipped over, humming a bit she eyed the pumpkins "Probably not." She said seriously making Eliot roll his eyes.
"Well I'm not gonna be the one to go get anymore, if you want more you go get 'em." Walking over to you, he sat beside you on the couch, placing his arm around you as he leaned back.
"Why do you want so many anyways Parker?" You asked.
"Because I want the office to be spooky!" She said excitedly with a grin while holding up a butchers knife.
"Hey! Go put that back! You are NOT using my knives for this!"
Parker pouted "Then what am I supposed to use?"
"Go buy some carving knives!" Eliot said exasperated.
Parker huffed out and set the knife down "Fine." She said with an air of annoyance and disappointment.
You chuckled a bit under your breath as you leaned back against Eliot, who pulled you close to him.
- - -
After finally getting Parker's desired amount of pumpkins, and four sets of carving knives. You, Eliot, Parker and Hardison all sat down around the table.
"This is gonna take us forever Parker." Eliot complained as he eyed the almost twenty pumpkins on the table.
"Right?!" She said with a grin.
"No, babe, that's not a good thing." Hardison said.
"Oh..." She said softly before shrugging her shoulders and pulling a pumpkin towards her.
You smiled and shook your head before pulling a pumpkin towards you, having no real idea of what you were going to carve. Flipping through the book of stencils, you pulled out a scary face, deciding to start with that while you thought of something more original you could carve.
And after what felt like the entire day, you had carved four pumpkins, Eliot four, Hardison three, and Parker was on her sixth, though she refused to show you any of the ones she had carved.
"The rest of the pumpkins are gonna have to be just plain decorations Parker." You said while a yawn escaped your mouth.
"Yeah, I know." She said a bit bummed as she continued to carve into her last pumpkin.
Looking back at your final pumpkin, you carved away at the more precise parts, trying to not the accidentally punch out the tooth of your last jack-o-lantern.
As another yawn forced it's way out, you accidentally missed the pumpkin with the carving knife, and instead sliced your finger, making you gasp out of surprise. "Ouch." You hissed out as you looked at your finger.
Eliot, having looked up at the sound of a gasp, saw you looking at your finger. Reaching over, he gently took your hand "It's just a small cut." You said as he looked, seeing some blood well to the surface.
Standing up, he began to walk towards the bathroom, "Best to clean it out anyway's."
"You could wipe the blood on your pumpkin and make it scarier." Parker said without looking up from her own pumpkin.
You stared at her silently before looking over at Hardison who was sharing your perplexed and grossed out look. You both shook your heads, ad you let out a small chuckle.
Eliot, sitting back down next to you, grabbed your hand again "This might sting a bit." He said as he wiped the cut with a small alcohol wipe. You closed one eye in a wince of pain before it subsided rather quickly. Placing a small bandage on the cut, he brought your hand up to his face and pressed a gentle kiss on the bandage "There, all better." He said with a familiar softness in his voice as he smiled at you.
You smiled in return "Thanks."
"Finished!" Parker yelled, making all three of you jump in surprise.
"Don't do that Parker!" Eliot said in frustration out of hatred of being scared.
Simply laughing, well cackling would be a better description, she grabbed her pumpkin and placed it next to the other five. Spinning them all around to face the three of you, she stared at you with glee as you all looked at the pumpkins.
"...What are they?" You asked after a few moments of silence.
"What, you can't see it?! It's us! Look, this one is me, this one is you, then Alec, Eliot, and then Sophie, and Nate!"
You stared at the pumpkins, trying to figure out the similarities. You found the longer you did, the more you saw, but, they still barely looked like people's faces. You nodded your head anyways "You know what, I see it now."
She grinned and nodded her head as he looked at Hardison who nodded his head in silence.
"What? What are you talking abo-Ow!" Eliot was cut off as you elbowed him in the side. Eyeing him, he rolled his eyes a bit before smiling at Parker who simply grinned gleefully at her creations.
After carving out one last piece to your final pumpkin, you picked it up and set it by the rest. Lighting a small tealight candle you placed it inside. You looked at the various pumpkins you had all carved. They ranged in carved faces, animals, and a few movie references from Hardison, not to mention Parker's portrait carvings.
You smiled at them as they flickered before turning back to Eliot, as he placed his last pumpkin down beside yours. "Even though there were so many, this was still pretty fun." You commented.
He smiled softly at you before planting a kiss on your cheek "Yeah it was. But don't say that to Parker, or she'll try to make us carve the rest." He said as he wrapped his arm around your side, as you both made your way back to the table.
"So, tonight we can watch scary movies and eat a bunch of candy!" Parker said with excitement.
Eliot shook his head "We should also consider eating an actual meal Parker, you've been eating candy all day."
"Bah! Who cares about that!" Parker said dismissively as she waved her hands at him.
You saw Eliot raise his brow before shaking his head, getting ready to argue.
You chuckled "How about we order out some food Parker, we can have candy later." You broke in before an argument could start.
She scrunched her nose before looking up at you, thinking for a moment she shrugged "Fine."
You and Eliot shared a look before you smiled amused as Parker ran back over to the pumpkins, taking pictures. Surely to send to Sophie and Nate.
"Come on." Eliot said as he tugged on your hand, dragging you over to the couch to sit down. Letting out a comfortable sigh, you leaned against him as he flipped through his phone, looking for a place to order food from.
Feeling content, you leaned your head on his shoulder, embracing one of the few days you've had with him recently that did not involve being on a job. And looking over at Hardison and Parker who were adjusting the pumpkins, you smiled, happy and content in the life you had made for yourself with this family.
Your head turned at the sound of it opening, and your body filled with worry and concern when Eliot hobbled in, obviously injured, as Parker helped in in.
"Eliot?" You asked worry obvious in your tone as you ran over to him.
"I'm alright, I'm good." He smiled at you, not wanting to worry anymore than you were already.
"You're obviously not good." You looked at Parker and she frowned and nodded.
You brushed his hair from his face, to see the darkened bruise under his eye better. "Do you need anything?" You asked.
He nodded his head towards the bar "I need some help to the bar."
You and Parker said "Oh" in unison as you linked your arm across his back, as he wrapped his own around you.
Walking him to the bar, he sat down with a groan, and you immedietely ran around the bar. Wrapping some ice in a rag, you handed it to him, and he took it gratefully, placing it under his eye with a small grimace.
"So, are you gonna tell me what happened?"
He smiled lightly at you, "Only if you don't get angry."
You gave him a pointed look, but it did not last, as it was replaced by a soft smile. "I promise I wont get angry...maybe just annoyed."
He scoffed lightly before he began to tell you what happened, aware you were holding your comments back for his sake.

2.Fake Dating 22.Sharing a bed.
It wasn’t supposed to be complicated, just a simple job. Of course that never seems to be your luck. which is why you find yourself with Eliot, waiting in a hotel lobby.
“This was just supposed to be an in and out.” You hiss. He laughs at you.
“It’s never an in and out Y/N, but there are worse places to be stranded.” You scowl a little and avoid looking around the lobby.
“Our room’s this way.”
“Oh sharing a room then?”
“Well we’re dating.”
“What?”
“Were you not paying attention to the cover story; we’ve been dating for a year; this is our anniversary!”
“So there’s only...”
“Yep.” Eliot beams as the hotel door swings open, revealing a large room with a king sized bed in the middle.
