Drabble-Ween Day 20: Misfit
“So you agree.” Parker told Hardison, who grinned, before calling out to Eliot. “Hey E, come agree with Parker and I on something.” Eliot walked over, leaning over the couch to look at the phone Parker held up. “Misfit?” Parker nodded. “The definition states that it’s someone who is a person not easily accepted by others, because their behavior is different from them. Doesn’t that define us as our version of thief?” “I can see that. Why were you looking up the word?” “Because I felt like it.” Parker said with a shrug and Eliot smirked. That was their Parker. Listen, I have very odd words for Day 19 through 21 so don’t judge me lol. I honestly didn’t think of how the word Misfit could suit the OT3 from Leverage but there you go. Day 20 of the Drabble-Ween challenge, which you can find here (I also thought of the band Misfits but couldn’t figure out how to make it a drabble for the OT3). Thank you!
January Drabble Day 15: Silver
“What movie is next?” “Another classic from the silver screen era; Oliver Twist.” Eliot looked back at Parker, who was grabbing more of the snacks he had made earlier. “You sure about that movie?” Hardison blinked but nodded. “Yeah. Parker actually likes it a lot. You know I wouldn’t do anything to purposely upset her.” “No, I know. I just, wanted to make sure.” Hardison grinned. “Sap.” “Shut up.” Eliot groused but relaxed back into the couch. When Parker sat down, she got comfortable, leaning her back against Eliot’s chest and her legs over Hardison’s. A perfect movie viewing day.
Day 15! Halfway there (Ish lol)! The word of the day is Silver and the prompt list can be found here! It was originally created by the amazing inkandblade. Thanks!
January Drabble Day 20: Globe
“Alright, spin the globe, Mama. Where are we going next?”
Parker grinned as Hardison wrapped his arms around her waist and Eliot watched in amusement from his spot in the kitchen, where he was working on a dessert for Parker’s birthday. Parker spun the antique globe Hardison had gotten her, closed her eyes, and put her finger on a spot once the globe stopped spinning before opening her eyes again. “Ooh Thailand! That sounds fun, right?” Hardison mentally calculated any complication with that spot before looking to Eliot. “Thailand?” Eliot stuck the baking pan in the oven. “Thailand sounds good.”
The day 20 (Yay 20 days) word of the prompt challenge inkandblade created is Globe! The list is over here if you’re curious. Thank you!
January Drabble Day 5: Haunt
They say the past can continually haunt you, if you let it. Eliot Spencer had done a lot in his past he was not proud of. He should let the past haunt him, a redemption for all the lives he had taken. But now he had Parker and Hardison. And slowly, piece by piece, they helped exorcise the ghosts of his past. “Eliot! Hardison is trying to cook miserably and failing!” Parker said cheerfully. “It’s a grilled cheese sandwich! I can cook that much at least!”
Eliot rolled his eyes but smirked. He was in love with two interesting people.
I still have feels about one Hitter lol. Day 5 (The word is Haunt) of the inkandblade prompt challenge! Yes I still love Leverage and the OT3 from it. LOL. Thanks!
September Drabbles, Day 27: Light
Eliot Spencer had done things in his life he was not proud of. Eventually he made himself into a person he was more proud of. But the darkness of his actions sometimes lingered, crawled in to his veins like poison. Before, when the memories got bad, he created new recipes or worked on his garden. But now he had Parker and Hardison and in a way, they were sources of light that drove out the darkness. They weren’t perfect either or pure, but they helped Eliot combat the demons, and helped remind him what a good man he was now.
I love one Hitter lol. Seriously, if you haven’t watched Leverage, do yourself a favor and go watch it. You won’t regret it. I have all the Eliot Spencer feels and regret nothing. Day 27 of my self-imposed September Drabbles Challenge. The word of the day is Light and yeah, feels. If you want to see the list, it’s here! Thank you!
September Drabbles Day 15: Laptop
Alec Hardison had always had a special touch with electronics and his laptop was custom made to his specifications. It was perfect for him and he loved it like a mother might love her child. When a mission gone wrong cost him his laptop, Eliot and Parker noticed just how depressed Hardison got. And they all had their own interests and were still getting to know each other. But they'd always been observant and so, when a new laptop arrived, even better than the last, Hardison wasn’t ashamed at all, crying joyfully while pulling Eliot and Parker close in gratitude.
Almost caught up! Day 15 of the September Drabbles Challenge List (Found here!) is Laptop and I love the fact that the show never showed toxic masculinity, letting the guys have emotions. Thank you!
September Drabbles Day 12: Communication
"Hardison, something is going on with—" There was a crash, and the comforter on the hotel bed was pulled up over a head while the bed sheets fell to the floor, wrapped around another body. Sophie paused, taking in the scene she had walked in on. She bit back a smile. “Eliot?” Eliot poked his head out from under the comforter. “Hardison?” Hardison stuck his head out from the sheets. “And Parker?” Parker poked her head out from under the bed. Sophie waggled a finger. “I knew it! Well, when you three are done having fun, there’s an issue with the comms. We need to be able to communicate, don’t we?” She asked pointedly looking at Hardison.
“Is that code for, “Why didn’t we tell you what was going on between the three of us”, Sophie?” Hardison muttered and Sophie smiled again.
“Everyone has their secrets. Anyway, have fun. After all, these beds are made for fun.” And with that she walked back out, calling over her shoulder. “Next time lock the door!”
When she was gone, Hardison looked at Eliot. “You forgot to lock the door?”
Parked rolled out from under the bed. “Well we did distract him...”
I did a double drabble! I was having too much fun with this scene and I didn’t want to stop at 100 words. And since I created this challenge for myself, I can do a double drabble, right? LOL. Anyway! Day 12 of the September Writing Challenge (Which the list of can be found here!) word is Communication. Honestly though I don’t think they’d go that long without telling Sophie since the communication in the show was pretty good most of the time. LOL. Thanks!
