Alexia swiped away as she lay in her towel post shower. She hated dressing - even for bed. It seemed so tedious. So instead, she stayed relaxed and warm after the steaming shower and a relatively eventful day.
It was nearly time for her to turn in -- she had to meet her first Wednesday client at 7AM. Just as the blonde started to place her phone face down, she heard the unfamiliar chime of a Bumble notification. She had a new match.
The app was new to the woman who had spent her whole life focused on present connection with other beings. Upon first inspection, the whole thing seemed rather lackluster. Could you really build chemistry from a bright little screen? Sia decided it was time to find out. Tinder had lead to nothing but garbage encounters -- hopefully this app would be different.
“Levi” had liked her back. She took in a breath at the telltale flutter in her stomach she got when anyone was truly appealing to her eye -- frankly, he was hot. She grabbed her glasses so she could examine more than his pictures, refreshing her memory for the other reasons she had swiped favorably for him in the first place.
Local. Newish in town. She could show him around easily enough, she thought.

Sia: Hi Levi! How’s your evening?
Sia: Also, do you like steak?
