Nicknames: Kass -- and that’s it. He’s not really a ‘nickname guy’.
Place of birth: Robin Hood’s Bay, Yorkshire; he was meant to be born at St. Mungo’s, but came early, and so a healer apparated to them.

One personality trait they’re proud of having: Kassius is most proud of his kindness; his personality is full of contradictions and changeability, but the one thing that is constant is his kindness, as well as his capacity for empathy. He’s very kind to others -- but not so much to himself.
Insecurities: The man is 1% human, 99% insecurity. He’s well aware of what his last name is, and well aware that he’s not exactly the shining golden boy that one might expect him to be.
Positive traits: Scholarly, ambitious, hopeful, quick-witted, sympathetic
Negative traits: Overcritical, perfectionistic, isolating, touchy
Other people’s opinions of them: To be totally honest, he doesn’t know what other people think of him; his own opinion of himself is so warped that he can only imagine that others think of him in the same light. But others see him as one of the hardest workers around, as someone who’s smart as a whip, and someone who is far too hard on himself. He has a certain soft spot for others that doesn’t extend to himself, and everyone sees it
Three words to describe them: tireless, hopeful, protector
One major turning point in their life: He remembers it well -- a benefit to serve Abraxas Malfoy, a banquet at a manor far too grand to be reasonable for living in. One of the Sacred 28; he found himself amongst those who thought him to be one of them, who treated him as an equal while talking down about the very people he called his dearest friends. He didn’t feel equal to them; he didn’t want to. Kassius didn’t indulge in any conversation, but rather remained silent, judging. His standoffish nature throughout the entire benefit, his cold shoulder, his pointed decision not to indulge in their Pureblood bigotry -- all were the subject of hot gossip for a time. But it was a moment that truly woke him.
If they could time travel, when would they go? I think that he would likely enjoy going back to meet the Ollivanders who were around in Merlin’s time. The first, maybe -- he would enjoy going as far back into wizarding history and his own history as he could.
Ideal romantic partner: Freya -- Ok, but really though, Kassius isn’t the most romantic person in the whole world, but he is most inclined to be attracted to someone who can hold their own, who has an intense sense of right and wrong. He is most likely to be attracted to the best parts of people, and is hopeful that everyone has at least a little good in them. Or, well -- most people.
Favorite way to waste time: Waste time? What’s that? Kassius doesn’t know her. (ok, but reading history books -- that’s his favorite ‘off-time’ thing to do)
Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen? He would probably start sketching wands, or perhaps might start formulating a new spell -- or even tweaking an existing one.
View on home and family? Found family is just as important as blood family; his family name is so heavy, and everyone in it wears the mantle differently, and so he has learned that found family is just as necessary as the family you are born into -- especially if biological family is impossible to quantify.
Any secret stashes? Oddly enough, muggle peppermints. He keeps them everywhere in case the need for something sweet hits him during his studies.
How do they express themself? He’s more of a listener than a talker, so expressing himself is difficult at times. He is much better at expression through actions than words, however, and makes great use of this.
What did they want to be when they grew up? A wandmaker! No question.
What do you like most about them? UGH ok don’t even get me started about this one. What I like most about Kassius, after much deliberation, is that he has taken his name and his legacy, and has used it to support a cause that means a lot to him, and to people who are unable to protect themselves.
