Confession: when I was maybe four books into the series, I saw @theraven-gil-lyn's art of the Renegade Rangers (the one with Crowley and Halt at the top with Morgarath in the background) and whole-heartedly believed Lewin was a woman for some reason. You can imagine my surprise when I learnt that there was currently no women in the Corps lol
