Alabama Bamboo

Kentuck celebrated its 40th year, and our very own Bambooster, Jamie, was in charge of both the Patron + Artist parties.  So of course there had to be bamboo.  We crafted bamboo lights that were grouped around the Kentuck courtyard.  Bamboosters Roger, Rachel  + Harper Lewis donated the bamboo.  Kentuck, click here.  Lewis Bamboo, click here Grace Aderdean, click here

Bamboosters Visit Lewis Bamboo

To say we were impressed is an understatement - what an amazing trip! 

It was inspiring, educational, exciting, and just plain fun.   Roger + Rachel guided us through their bamboo garden with passion, and their knowledge is unparalleled.

We oohed + awed around every bend + turn as there are over 150 different species of bamboo at Lewis Bamboo.  It is just one of those times in life when words alone just cannot do the experience justice.  We took photographs, video (unfortunately the sound did not work), and scribbled in our notebooks. 

Although there is much still to be learned, we now have a much better understanding of how to proceed with our plans.
