Evelyn Goodwin married young, got divorced, seemingly raised Lewis mostly alone? Not sure if I have that right. But when she got divorced she did not keep her ex-husband's name.

But then Sam and Lewis see each other at the book launch, and if Lewis is his son then Sam would've just been a massive asshole. But, like, he is an adult, he can make bad choices.

Is it possible that Sam is Evelyn's ex-husband? Like, if they divorced when Lewis was very young, and he never would've known his father sort of thing? His name is Goodwin, after all.

In terms of the Story, it would be so good. Del falls in love with Colton (Evelyn's best friend) in 1974, then dates Sam (Evelyn's ex-husband?) in 2024. But I truly don't know if it's possible?? I'm too tired to remember if they've made mention of Lewis's dad/Max's grandpa at any point
