Lewis Seddon they'll never make me like you.
Lewis Seddons character developement in Waterloo Road is amazing!!
He was trash when he SA’d Kim, but then in season 3, he’s considerate enough to know that Carla is different and brings her the potatoe waffles because of the symmetry.
Keep in mind, he likely hadn’t spoken to her much but still is smart enough to notice that she functions differently and is accommodating of it. His behaviour towards Carla was better than most of the teachers at the start of season 3.
Not only that, but when he finds out who the pervert is, he shows his respect for women. Okay, he could be a prat to Maxine but it shows how his attitude changed.
Most times, wasters don’t even want a job, but Lewis not only gets a job but he puts that high on his priority.
And let’s not forget, his reaction when he finds out about his baby that died, he’s gutted. Let’s compare that to Earl Kelley! Maxine would have definitely been better off with Lewis because at least he wasn’t a sociopath and acknowledged his faults and tried to improve himself.
Lorna deserved better! Maybe she could be a bit annoying but they cheated and lied on her many times and ignored her feelings and acted like she was the bad guy in their stupid love story. Lewis and Donte are trash too idc. 😩😭 (Waterloo s1/2)
I had to get my laptop to answer this lol.
I agree Lorna deserved better. For me it’s a bit weird because I started the show around mid-S3, so without spoiling it but because of how I met certain characters in S3 (In particular Chlo and Mika were my gateway - I won’t spoil why though) it did affect how I viewed S1, and that love triangle - but when I remember what happens, honestly they all deserved better (you’ll see why the further you go on, I don’t want to spoil it), but Lorna especially. She is annoying and a bit of a wet blanket, but she is kinda bogged down by the storyline. And have you gotten to the MS bit? There was a missed opportunity there.
Lewis is trash. He is so trash that honestly, if you stick with the show throughout the 10 seasons - or at least 7 seasons lol, you actually forget about him. He is like the original trash, but other trash bags come and they are more iconic.
And NOOOOO! Not my Donte! Lol. In all fairness I forgot until you said that he was trash that he was trash in the beginning, but trust me, stick with him because things change around S2 for him because of an incident and then through his relationship with Chlo and by S3, I think (hope) that you’ll love him.
But one thing you notice is that there are a lot of bad boys or boisterous students that enter the fray and then by the end of their stint they are practically redeemed but still have their cheeky/feisty personality - or become irredeemable fuckboys - but I think with the irredeemable lot they still put compelling performances that it will make you forget about Lewis lol.
What's the point of them even questioning Lewis, they've already convinced its him attacking all these girls. As much as I can't stand him I hate injustice and these police are pissing me off with their biased questions.
How could I forget that Maxine used to date Lewis Seddon. I love her character and cried at her death but she has a criminally shit taste in men. Same could be and will said about a lot of the characters.
