I haven't really taken the time to draw Shaun and Lex interacting as brothers before now. So I decided to remedy that! Something wholesome with my two boys sitting together and bonding, with Shaun being the laid back and positive man that he is. Also, I decided to have it set by the water at a lake because I felt like drawing something a bit summer-y as the days of summer this year start winding down.

Lex's Late Night Gaming

I'm starting to get back into the swing of drawing after focusing so much of my time lately on my last semester of school. So I decided to do this by drawing a new pic of Lex!

I wanted to develop his personality a bit and to do this, I decided to draw him taking part in a bit of the ol' videos game. Particularly Splatoon. I think Lex would be the type who's VERY much an avid Splatoon player. This will also come into play in another aspect of his personality while I'll show off in another pic. So stay tuned!

Next up on the list of band members getting new designs/ref sheets, we have one of the two male members of the band! The first one up being the femmy guitar boy himself, Lex! Aside from KC, Lex probably had the most drastic redesign out of all of the other band members. As time went on after his initial design, I grew to not really like how it turned out... so when the chance to redesign him to fit my current standards came a-knockin', I just HAD to jump on it!

With Lex this time around, I ended up taking a lot of elements from pop punk and skater punk to design his new look. Including things like the shorter cut hair and the new beanie I gave him. That said, I did keep a lot of elements from the old design as well, such as the overall color scheme for the most part (aside from some new blue shoes to sort of book end his colors a bit) and of course the blue streaks across his bangs! Hope you all like him! :D

And now last, but certainly not least, the fifth and final member of FireMane! I was probably anticipating drawing this boy the most out of all of them, so I hope y'all like him :p Meet Lex!

BIO: Name: Alexander "Lex" Burton Instrument: Rhythm guitar Age: 21 Height: 5'4" Character Profile: Auditioning for the group alongside his brother, Shaun, Lex was brought into FireMane when the group decided to expand their soundscape and give them a fuller lineup. It actually took some coaxing from Shaun to get Lex to even consider joining a band in the first place, especially considering he had never really performed to such a degree in his entire life up until that point. Though initially very apprehensive about playing his guitar in a group like this, having to be told multiple times to turn his amp up during rehearsals and even a few odd gigs, Lex eventually started to come out of his shell as time went on and became a vital member of the group. KC especially likes the prospect of having another guitar handy in him to jam with from time to time. Lex has always been the shyest member of the group, by far. Often coming off as very aloof and distant to those who don't know him. He can often be found standing in the background, not really trying to draw much attention to himself, usually sticking very close to those he's most comfortable with if they're around, whether it be his brother or any of his other band mates. Because of his age as well, being the youngest member of the group and all, he's very much considered the baby of the group, much to his own annoyance. He's also known to get very easily flustered or embarrassed, which has given way to him being teased by his fellow bandmates. Dani in particular, who he considers his best friend among the members of FireMane, loves to push his buttons constantly. Whether it be surprising him with a quick tickling of his sides or randomly running up and hugging him. Lex also presents himself as very androgynous in appearance. Though he does identify as male, he tends to gravitates towards outfits that are more feminine in nature more often than not and his personality follows suit, coming off as very femmy to those around him. This has resulted in a few awkward moments, whether it be after a show or just whenever they've gone out in general. That said though, despite the awkward moments, he does feel very much at home with his friends in FireMane, and couldn't be happier with how things have turned out for him.
