The truth is that I shipped it so hard when it first happened. They were so cute. Then all of the sudden it was her birthday and this beautiful girl was dying and this powerful hybrid showed up by her bedside….and the rest was history. Also, Tyler and Caroline both changed as individuals and they just don’t really work in my opinion. I just can’t find it in my heart to still ship them anymore. Klaroline just has my shipper heart. :)

I’m still really afraid of graduating because that means I’ll really have to face the real world and it’s like “What if I end up never using my degree? That’ll be 4 years of stress & school all for nothing.” “What if I end up at a job that I hate? And I have to stay there because that’s my only source of income? And I can never find a better option.” “What if I end up like Squidward?” And I know Squidward is a silly comparison, but Squidward is a very common person.

He goes to school to do something he loves and something he’s passionate about, but it never works out for him. So he ends up working a dead end job at a burger joint that he hates. And I don’t wanna be a Squidward. I wanna be a Spongebob. Somebody that gets up and doesn’t mind being work because he actually loves it. And to Spongebob, it’s not actually work because he likes doing it. But nowadays, entry level jobs require a lot more skills than needed and skills that you wouldn’t otherwise learn unless you actually get a hands-on opportunity. So how do I get in?

But yeah. This was longer than it should have been but my fear is graduating and never using my degree to its full advantage and ending up at a dead end job that I hate.

Bay x Ty?

Yay! I love answering stuff!

when I started shipping it if I did: Pretty much right away (Ty’s little smile at the end of their first interaction), and they made OTP status when they went tagging together and Ty listened to Bay talk about the switch (I wish this part had been on camera to some extent).

my thoughts: I hate what the writers did to them at the end of season 2. They deserved better than a crappy break up due to ‘cheating’- the most unoriginal plot line ever. They’re way better than Bemmett as well.

What makes me happy about them: That Ty was the first person outside of the switch (non-family member) that Bay told about the switch, that Ty was Bay’s first and their first time in general, their first date together, and how they make each other better people. The parallels between them and Angelo/Regina are also really nice. 

What makes me sad about them: They way they ended was horrible. Also I didn’t like how cut off their storyline was from the rest of the family. There was no need for that as Ty was connected to Regina, Adriana, and Daphne. There totally could have been some really nice family scenes. 

things done in fanfic that annoys me: There isn’t much fanfic for them, but when people make Bay naive it drives me nuts. Just because she’s younger and less worldly and experienced than Ty doesn’t make her dumb. 

things I look for in fanfic: Lol, generally just fanfic that features them and that it’s at least somewhat actively being updated (or is complete). Good grammar and not much Emmett are my main requirements though. Bonus points for Daphne, Regina, and Kathryn being featured. 

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:  Bay is pretty ok with Tank (no way would I want her with Emmett), and Ty would be ok with an original character. 

My happily ever after for them: They reunite at an older age (mid to late-20’s), and fall back in love together, and eventually have some sort of life together with a few struggles along the way (ala Regina/Angelo). I picture them not married because neither seem like the marriage type, and they don’t actively plan on having kids but end up with one or two anyway (and what ever kids they do have inherit Bay’s hair and sarcasm/temper, and Ty’s difficulty with emotion). They open up an after school facility for at risk youth in East Riverside focusing on art and physical activity. I also like to imagine them staying close to the whole family, and Ty and Toby bonding in some manner.  

who is the big spoon/little spoon: Ty is the big spoon and Bay is the little one, but sometimes Bay likes to be the big spoon when Ty is still asleep. 

what is their favourite non-sexual activity: Tagging and just generally being involved in East Riverside in some manner or another (I always picture them opening up some after school art program to keep at risk youth out of trouble- Bay does it because she loves art and helping people, Ty does it because he understands East Riverside life and wants the kids there to have an option outside of the army or being drunks).
