Hi, I'm i just found this wonderful account and I was wondering if you could give me some advice? See my mom is from Alabama and we have native ancestry (Cherokee and Choctaw) I even have pictures and such, but idk where to go from there. I want to get more in touch with my roots but I'm confused on what I should do plus I'm scared I'm not native enough

I (and the other mods agree) that it is wonderful that you wish to connect with your alleged indigenous roots and more importantly, focus less on blood quantum. I would highly suggest that you start your family research via Google for credited ancestry and genealogy sites. Lastly, if you are able to speak with relatives they are more likely to be a helpful, primary source.

Omg I’m so glad other ppl caught how they wrote Erica. I really wish the difficult brothers knew any black ppl what so ever because she came off as a conservative like what was the point of that???
