"Breaking News"
5. How your muse won the lottery and what they did with the money.
“Good evening,” Lext nodded slightly as she greeted the camera. Behind the polite stare she focused on the audio feed streaming into her ear via tiny ear plug speaker. Her boss, nicknamed Mun [akekeke~], was already rushing her to skip the story planned before and to report a new one. “This just in, a young eighteen year-old had won the 300 million yen lottery. Reports say that Shin-” What?
Mun repeated the name, “His name is just Shin. Just keep talking! He-“
“-has recently decided to spend his purchase on a small island in the Pacific-ARE YOU SH!TTING ME?” The second his picture appeared in the preview screen, Lext lost it. The lanky, red-headed, deadpanned, not attractive guy she hung out with in a closet had just become filthy rich? And he was wasting it on an island? “NO. How could he-? Ugh!! That moron-!”
The room was brought to a rather awkward standstill as Lext whipped out her phone and dialed a number. It didn’t take long to figure out whose when…
“You! Did you go out and buy an island?” Pause. “You idiot!! Why would you even go and do that when I could take you to one! … What do you mean you’re busy! What could you be possibly doing alone on an island?! … Sending me a what?” Lext had looked up just in time to see a standard butler making his way through the set to bow before her.
“Mr. Shin has sent the car for you Miss Lext.”
“… When I get there you are so dead.” She slapped the phone shut.
[ooc; ALL THE CRACK. ALL OF IT. WHO CARES. DO YOU? I DON’T. *throws on shades*]
Drabble you say... Bind Me. [ read: 1. RPer is bored as hell. 2. For Shin I guess it actually makes no real difference. 3. Let's Lext vent some frustration. *ekhem* ]
[ooc; DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO FIND A PLOT IDEA THAT I LIKED? Of course you don’t. IT TOOK TWO SCRAPPED PLOT IDEAS TO GET THIS ONE, WHICH IS WHY IT TOOK SO FREAKING LONG. *collapses* But omg I love it.]
“Wake up.” A cooing whisper mingled next to Shin’s ear.
The blonde stirred slightly from his unconscious state but soon ebbed back into a heavy breathing pattern when an index finger abruptly pushed his cheek to the side. Instantly his body jumped and his eyes popped open. Quickly he shut his eyes from the intensely blurry surroundings until his eyes adjusted to the shadowy room. It took a few moments but when he did, he witnessed a confounding sight: Emiko Hiyashi, a.k.a. Lext, smiling down at him with an entirely pleased air dancing about her.
Then the entire aura fell like a bucket of water. Her voice deadpanned,”You sleep worse than a horse.” Well, good thing the world was still normal. Shin quickly retaliated,
“Did your pin-cushioned teachers add that to your curriculum? I hadn’t realized pastry dressed girls required to know the vile sleeping habits or four legged animals.” Lext heaved a sigh, causing his lips nudged into the ghost of a smile until he moved his arm. Excuse me, attempted to move his arm. As he rolled his head upwards and then assessed the rest of his body, Lext shifted her weight to one hip with that hint of enjoyment igniting her eyes. Finally he looked at her.
She feigned a patient, oblivious smile; pathetic liar. Fine then.
“I don’t suppose your lessons also included the necessity of keeping commoners hostage in your bed.”
“Don’t be so dramatic.” She waved him off, padding her way to the other side of the carpeted room. Her desk was absolutely cluttered with crumpled papers and …was that an apple? Did this girl even know how to clean? Or had she banned her servants from endangering themselves on such a task?
“The lemon drop girl ties up her quest’s wrists and ankles to her bed with… rope?” He had to lift an ankle to be sure. Lext only tilted her head, eyes warmly nursing a secret as she plunged her hands into the pockets of her oversized sweater. “And said prisoner is now being tried on the grounds of being surprised at their own kidnapping?”
“This is not a kidnapping.” She enunciated calmly.
“Then what, pray tell, is it?”
Her next actions only confused him further. In four steps she had moved from her place in front of the bed, stepped onto the trunk in front of it, and moved onto the bed until she planted both of her nimble feet next to his hips. Her back crouched low as her knees descended until Shin could feel them push into the plush blanket. Perhaps she was truly a whack-job. A whack-job with eyes so absorbed and preying their focus directly on him.
Still, he wasn’t perplexed so much as he was waiting. One didn’t simply pass a glance at a girl as strange as this one. Not in the hallway at Ouran, and especially not now with her predatory gaze trained on him. As she neared he slowed his breathing, feeling her invade his presence. Before the silence could extend any further he continued,
“It seems to me that if a girl invites an acquaintance over to their mansion, propped and staged to receive pastries or pin cushions,” He almost paused as Lext’s expression deepened from amusement to pleasure. Though the smile matched the gloss of her eyes, they both looked surprising on the girl’s childlike features. She looked wanting… with the intent of harnessing it; whatever “it” was. Despite this he pushed ahead without fault, “that they provide those guests with the obligatory exit, should they need-“
Lext blatantly cut him off, “The only thing you need to do is to stay still.” She was hovering in front of him now; his head tilted up, hers down. Slowly she inched her head lower. He didn’t really understand. Did she intend on kissing him? What motive was there for that?
He spoke softer than before, “What-“
Unfortunately he never got to finish that sentence because as soon as he opened his mouth, Lext somehow jammed an apple against his mouth until his teeth had no choice but to dig into the fruit until it reached the gums. The broad had stashed the apple into her pockets and pulled it on him like a gun, or more accurately: a gag.
“You talk way too much, do you know that?” She asked him pointedly. “And this still isn’t kidnapping.” He raised an eyebrow ironically. She leaned in so close they would practically be nose-to-nose were it not for the ripened barrier between them. “This is vengeance.”
Dominate me [awkfjsgjkfdkgjdnhnfkhjn //dead]
Dominate Me: my character will sexually dominate yours
Lext could see it nudging the faintest tug of amusement on Morinozuka’s lips and it made her heart plummet down the worst rollercoaster ride. The inside of her head shrilled into faint numbness as her eyes widened. Takashi Morinozuka was actually smiling because he had found out she was a virgin. Her thumb somehow flung her pencil out of her hand, landing it a few feet away from their table.
Heart burned her entire body as she wordlessly pounced from her seat on the couch to retrieve the item. She had gone to interview about his romantic love life, not hers! Yet somehow he had plucked the sum of her romantic history like a strand of hair. Was it that… obvious?
“It’s okay.” He spoke as Lext just picked up the pencil. When she looked back at him, his twinge of a facial expression had vanished. For some reason this ticked her off far more than that hinting smile ever could. She dropped the pencil and whirled on him.
“I could lose my virginity if I wanted to!” She barked at him. Storming over, she continued, “Sex is easy! I can be sexy if I want to! Extremely so! It doesn’t take a genius to be the ‘wild’ type, you know.” By now she had clamped her hands on the back of the couch Morinozuka sat on, glaring at him heatedly.
Despite the slight widening of his eyes, he made no comment and only stared straight into her eyes. That calm, marble stare that could be swept into a tornado and wouldn’t blink. She knew it was just taunting her. It knew she didn’t actually have the sex appeal. She did, however, have the guts.
She was lucky for many reasons that day: one; because she had track practice that day before the interview so she wasn’t wearing her stupid uniform and two; because she had recently spent her time finishing up a really good piece of lemon-y fanfiction. Sex may have been as foreign to the girl as a wood chipper but if she understood realistic literature and had oodles of websites in her Internet history to prove she had done her research.
Still in her track pants, which were just overpriced leggings, she planted a knee onto the couch and swung herself to hover above the boy. His eyes held a mixture of the thoughts in his head; not that she could decipher any of it. At that point it didn’t matter. Geez, he should be feeling something.
For a brief moment she stayed there, her hands gripping the back of the couch, her expression determined, her body heat mingling with his. Quickly she dipped her gaze lower and found her next move. A faint smirk curled as she grabbed his tie and tugged him forward. The closeness of his scent blanked her mind for a moment as her eyes flickered from his lips back to his eyes. Her mind went completely blank from his presence. If they were having a staring contest, he was winning. She couldn’t have that.
Quickly she dove in to kiss his neck, ungracefully pushing her weight against him as he fell back into the couch. She could feel the pace of his breathing reply to her kiss. At first they were small, slowly crossing up to his ear where she unwittingly exhaled before moving back to start again. She shifted her body against him, practically sitting on him now with her inner thighs grazing his hips. He wasn’t stopping her but she couldn’t hear a clear response either.
Well don’t just stay still! Touch his hair or something! Her mind cried out. Instantly she let go of the back of the couch, slightly losing her balance in the process. She slid directly onto his lap, holding onto his shoulder. She was pressed against him now and definitely on top of him now as he leaned slightly back into the couch. Lext gulped before running a cautious hand through his hair as his eyes watched her. Quickly she tugged his head back and went back to kissing his neck. She definitely wasn’t going near his lips with those eyes on guard.
Do something more than kiss it! How does a hickey work again? Oh, right. Lext panted slightly on Morinozuka’s neck before baring her teeth. Her tongue pressed against his skin as her teeth found a piece and bit. She may have sucked a little too hard on the skin for a moment but, unsurprisingly, the boy didn’t protest. After a moment she pulled away noisily.
Eugh, it left a weird mark. Surprised, she moved her fingers inside the shirt’s collar and thumbed the mark slightly. It wasn’t going away. Crap.
“Oops,” Lext blurted out. Some could even call Lext oblivious, sitting square in a boy’s lap, her lower body pressed against him, her hands in his hair and tugging down his shirt collar, and never figuring out that strange look Morinozuka was giving her.
But what if time ends but forever keeps on going? Ha. Possible way of events! And I miss Lext by now, you know. Hope you'll bring her back to live soon enough.
[ooc; o.o *braincramp* I’ll probably be dead by then so 8D Lext is very much alive! Homework has been keeping me busy and I’m working on replying to all my threads first before I post them up. [: ]
Can I be your creepy anon forever?
[ooc; You can be my creepy anon until the end of time~ …Which is really just another way of saying “forever” with a bunch of extra words thrown in for flare and romanticism but that’s besides the point~ Oh yes, this is the start of a beautiful relationship, Anon.]
27, 28, 38, 40, 46, 47
27: What is their biggest regret?
Lext’s biggest regret is that she didn’t somehow make Ryouma go with her to New York when she ran away from home. If Ryouma had seen more than what their mother had taught him to believe, maybe he could have had a different life…
28: Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?
If you mean who amongst the current threads, no one yet really. Her father was her first best friend and then her younger brother was before they had a falling out. Potential best friend scenarios Mun predicts would be Lee Eisen (sciutto) and Shinobu (seki-shin).
Her worst enemy would be Nine (bloodyplayground). I mean, he is trying to kill her at the moment.
38: What recharges them when they’re feeling drained?
Coffee. Caffe Americano, specifically.
40: How misanthropic are they?
Misanthropic: cynical: believing the worst of human nature and motives; having a sneering disbelief in e.g. selflessness of others.
LOL. Lext generally believes that if she wants something done, let alone done right, she’ll do it herself. She doesn’t rely on others for help and, in fact, cringes at the idea of being dependent. So yup, she’s rather misanthropic.
She likes to think she’s realistic.
46: If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?
Here’s a tricky question.
Lext’s idea of her ideal man: Honest, hardworking, trustworthy, monogamous, practical, reliable, intelligent, compassionate, a gentleman, and patient.
Snore. Poor guy wouldn’t even a fizzle out of this fiery broad.
Mun’s ideal for Lext: Clever, resourceful, persistent, calm/relaxed, sturdy, humorous, optimistic, creative, mischievous, honest, talented, and fun-loving.
47: How do they express love?
Lext is all about showing love and putting in the effort to adequately express that affection.
Since she’s kind of a stranger to love she’d to very practical tactics. Giving him a drawer to stash his stuff at her apartment, attempting to cook for him (poor dude..), buying him a brand new book, or allowing him to teach her something. She won’t be buying him gifts a lot but when she does they will always be practical and something he needs. Doing things for him counts too.

2: Do they have any daily rituals?
Yes, she prays to the Holy Potato and thanks it ever so kindly for all the french fries in the world.
Lext hates the ideas of rituals but she is so freaking predictable her life may as well be a ritual. She wakes up (6:30AM), gets ready, has coffee while looking at the news, goes to school, works on newspaper after school, goes to the library for reading and homework (and to avoid dinner), goes home, eats dinner in room, finishes homework/edits writing, sleep.
11: Intellectual pursuits?
Lext has always been very interested in contemporary history. Seeing how people can manifest or shape their world or the world around them fascinates. She believes that actions define people’s character and that it is pointless to hide behind fear when there is so much that needs to be done.
She’s favors American history for their entrepreneurship along with their culture of underdogs and outcasts. Political movements, major protests, and war topics are often what she reads about. The girl loves rebels.
12: Favorite book genre?
Historical nonfiction. She’s tried historical fiction as well but hates the melodrama. Sometimes she’ll read books on historical speeches.
19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night?
Her family. Either her father or her younger brother.
21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs?
Turn-ons: Cleverness, confidence, compassion, compliments, intelligence, vulnerability
Turn-offs: Arrogance, self-obsession, fickleness, surprises, cruelty, bullying
