24. Have you ever felt like you’ve had a “mind meld” with someone? My mom has a penchant for knowing exactly what I’m thinking if I can’t express it accurately. I’m an introvert, so these instances are rare. I think in discussing little things with other writers, there’s a little mind melding there sometimes.
30. Pick one of your favorite quotes. I answered this one already for @crushed-pink-petals-writes, but here’s another, taken from “Mad Girl’s Love Song” by Sylvia Plath: “I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed and sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane. 6. learned anything about yourself?
Another thing I’ve learned is just how much I hate the taste of water. I’ve been trying to drink more, and it’s just so difficult because I am NOT a fan, and using the little flavor packets seems like a waste, but it’s the only way I can do it.
10. what are you going to do once the quarantine is over?
Along with a cheap flight (flights) I’m going to get another tattoo - probably a large one.
12. do you agree with the way your government is handling the pandemic?
I already said that for the most part, I agree with how Ohio’s handled it, especially when compared to places like Michigan and Pennsylvania... but the federal government... I think it could have been handled better. I’m not even saying like being prepared for it, because a lot of places weren’t, but I mean presenting an overall, unified message.
I understand that things are constantly changing as we learn more about the virus and what it does and how it works, so things WILL be modified from day to day... but there needed to be blanket measures taken so that there was no confusion. (No, not every place is impacted the same, but when you have people traveling between states for sports because they’re canceled in one place but not in another and then traveling BACK, that’s an issue).

Honestly it is no longer the story that I originally came to your blog for. I think of Exit Row and Neon Lights now!
Ok so you get a two-fer.
1. Exit Row was originally written to be a short little one shot for @benbarnestongue who was going on vacation a little after Christmas ... and it has expanded into what it is today. I was apprehensive about writing for Ben, because he’s an actual person.... but the more I think about it, the more I realize that as long as I keep it respectful, it’s not really different than writing for a character, because ... I don’t know Ben. We aren’t friends... and so what I see him as and write him as are no different than HCs and storyboarding for the characters that he plays.
2. Neon Lights.... Ryan HATES starting fights with people. He’s going to defend you or anyone that he cares about when and if it comes down to it, but he tries to be as non-confrontational as possible, because he knows that he needs to stay under the radar. This was especially true when he was on the road, because he didn’t want to end up in jail, didn’t want to draw attention to himself...but now? He holds in his temper because it means that it makes you look better. He doesn’t want people to look at you negatively because you’re a respectable young lady with someone like him.
But one night, when you and Ryan were out having a couple drinks at a bar in downtown Charleston that he played at, he went outside to smoke (he cut back dramatically and smokes maybe once or twice a week now) and came back in to some guy standing next to your barstool, trying to buy you a drink. You weren’t having it, but the guy wasn’t taking no for an answer, and Ryan saw that he was in your personal space... and he didn’t hesitate.
He crossed the crowded room quickly, hand already reaching out to push the man’s shoulder as he spoke - only three words - “She’s not interested.” It was loud in the bar - but Ryan’s voice was heard clearly by all three of you, and the tone of it made you want to drag him off somewhere and have your way with him. The other man stood his ground for a few seconds, but when Ryan’s hand didn’t drop and he rose to his full height, positioning himself behind you with his free hand resting against your back, the man realized it wasn’t worth it and turned to walk away.
... Ryan got into a bar fight once after he finished a set, too... but it had nothing to do with you.
Favorite genre of film?
I love horror movies, but I haven’t seen one in almost a decade that has truly scared me.
The closest anything has come is Sinister, and that was only because those videos were creepy as hell. The ending of the movie ruined it for me.
So if anyone has a good recommendation for a movie that will scare the shit out of me, please feel free to make it.
(Note: Hereditary, any of the Conjuring universe movies, Get Out/Us ... not scary.)
I'd say this is for fanfic writer appreciation day but the simple truth is I appreciate your writing everyday! I love the way you eloquently write your emotions and details in your stories. I love how close to canon you get the characters!! You're amazing and I'm constantly in awe of your work!

11 - Why did you create a Tumblr account?
I created this tumblr because I wanted to start writing HNH, and because I wanted to leave feedback for some of the writers that I’d been reading before I switched over from my other account to this one. I had to make a new account because I knew all of (well, MOST of) the people from my first account wouldn’t give two shits about my Ben content.
12 - Who is your favourite blogger?
Not really a single blogger, but I LOVE The Bucket List family, because I am insanely jealous of all of the opportunities that they have and the cool adventures that they get to take.
25 - Who do you spend crazy moments with?
My sister, definitely. My baseball family. My concert friends… especially driving from Columbus, OH to Atlanta, GA, seeing a concert, driving back to Columbus and then up to Cleveland without sleeping/taking a break. We left at about 3 am the first morning, got back to Columbus at roughly 10 am the following morning, and then I was in Cleveland and downtown for a baseball game by 12:30 pm.
91 - Do you believe in the phrase “If it’s meant to be, it will be”?
This just makes me think of that horrible Florida Georgia Line song. I don’t believe in fate, I think that people make conscious decisions and things turn out the way they do. You have to work for the things you want, you can’t just put it into someone else’s hands.
