"It might be unwise to ask questions you do not want an answer to, my friend." @lezviya
a black horse’s soft whinny announced the fae’s presence. the sound of the mare’s hooves was muffled by nearby thunder, but the rider itself appeared unbothered. they gently tugged on the reins — signaling their mount to slow to a trot, in order to sate their curiosity towards the figure before them.
“do you need a hand in finding shelter?” this was a volatile area of nod-krai: not due to the wild hunt that is in no doubt lurking around the corner, but the unpredictable weather. “the last place i would consider running into another traveler is here, but surprises are in abundance these past weeks.”

Nod - Krai had proven to be a good place to disappear. Nobody blinked twice at a lone traveler keeping to themself, only stopping in town to buy and sell supplies before setting out into the wilderness again. The chill didn't bother Phainon, and when the burning in their veins got too much to handle, the Wild Hunt was an apt target to let loose on.
They could go days without seeing someone, and despite the loneliness that gnawed at their chest, it was for the best. It was safest, that way.
The voice nearly startles them into jumping, but wrest their surprise under control with practice borne of many a time keeping their own hungry fire under control. A pleasant, polite smile had stretched across their face by the time they turn around, bearing no hint of the restlessness that had driven them out here.
"Ah! It truly is a surprise to see someone else so far out here." Phainon holds up a hand, palm out, as if to assure the rider they were perfectly fine. Given that they had, in fact, been struck by lightning a few hours before and gotten up perfectly fine, they were quite sure they were in no danger — though they preferred to avoid any questions about their strange constitution, if at all possible.
"There's no need to worry about me, I've made my way through storms much worse than this. I thank you for your concern though, kind stranger. It wouldn't do to leave a less experienced traveler out here in this, would it?"
❝ Don’t give me that look. ❞ // for klee!

Klee loves making that sweet, Puss-in-Boots face—especially since she knows when she does it, most people usually give her what she wants. Not counting Jean or Diluc. The rest are quite easy to use and learned quite easily. This time, she's trying her cunning tactics on Milek. "But Uncle Milek, you know how much I want to use those bombs… please, it'll only be this once. No one will know. And I won't hurt anyone! My word!" The girl placed her hand on the wrong side of her chest—she wanted to touch her heart, but it didn't work. "You don't want to see me cry, do you? I'll be very sad, very, very sad." Again, that charming face and pleading tone. "Uncle, I'm a young lady who needs to have some fun. Surely you'll understand!"

"And why not make accommodations for my oldest friend knowing that I may see you often here at the lighthouse? I keep things set aside specifically for a traveler or adventurer who may need something, it makes sense to do the same for a welcomed guest such as yourself."
"don't look at me like i'm the only one lying." — for flins. // fae shenanigans

"Lying? That doesn't sound like something I would do at all. Us fae can tell half truths and bend our words, but outright lying I would never." Flins' words had a tinge of joking sarcasm to them, which would be no surprise to Milek since he knew how mischievous his best friend could be.
"i don't care if you think you're fine. i'm staying." // for Flins.

"I'm no stranger to mild instances of Abyssal injuries during outbreaks of the Wild Hunt, I simply have to spend a bit of time resting in my lantern and I'll come out just fine. My report back to Illuga will be delayed by a day, but he's long since used to that happening by now."

Miro: I hate to say ‘I told you so’— Milek : No, you don’t. You would marry 'I told you so’ and have a baby with it and buy adjoining burial plots.
Milek : I'm at a loss for words. Miro: Despite being ‘at a loss for words’, Milek yelled at me for the next 45 minutes.
Miro: When I get murdered, can you make sure I become an unsolved case? Milek : What? Miro: I want to be on Buzzfeed Unsolved. Milek : Can we go back to the part when you said "when I get murdered"?
Miro: Can you keep a secret? Milek : Do you know anything about my life? Miro: No, I don't. Good point.
Miro: Are you alright with constructive criticism? I don't want to sound mean. Milek : No, go ahead. I want to hear it. Miro: It sucks. Milek : That's not constructive criticism.

"No one has yet to die as a result of sitting in the chair, so I think you're safe to do so. Not that it's particularly easy to kill one of our kind anyway." Nevertheless, Flins won't stop Milek from sitting in the chair outside that often triggered a connected ghost to appear and say something he typically says upon appearing out of thin air. Let him have a little fun showing his best friend around his area of residence.
