I wonder when it will start snowing. I wouldn't mind if it started early this year to be honest.
Finally finished my Herbology paper. Honestly, when am I even going to need to know the magical properties of a Wiggentree?
Where is everyone tonight?
I seemed to have missed some sort of prank at dinner the other day...something involving silverware..
Office Hours|| Open
Victoire sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. Everyone warned her that the start of term would be crazy and they weren't lying. Between meeting the students and staff and organizing or grading assignments, there was little time to breathe. Her office hours allowed a little bit of a break for now, because few students had too many questions at this part of the school year. Still, she figured a few stragglers would pop in now and again. She glanced at the stack of essays from her sixth years that were seemingly a mile high and cringed the way her students did when it was assigned. Should she get to work on them or take a bit of a breather? Rubbing her temples, she decided to begin grading and get it over with quickly.
Clumsy Clearwater// OPEN
Daisy burst into the Library looking like a disaster, hair all over the place and uniform wrinkled. She did it again! Why in the world could she not transfigure that stupid rat into a teacup? Instead, the spell backfired on her and at least three other classmates sitting near her. Fortunately, the whiskers were easy enough to get rid of, but the buckteeth required a visit to the Hospital Wing. That wasn't going to improve her social standing much. She grimaced at the thought and the loudness of her entrance. The students and staff inside all glared at her for interrupting their work.
Sighing quietly, she slunk past the harsh glares and found a secluded corner to hide in that was fitted with a comfortable armchair. Daisy collapsed into the chair and leaned forward, putting her face in her hands as her long blonde hair covered her face like a curtain. Well...maybe popularity isn't all it is cracked up to be. It is probably really annoying having to balance your time among all your friends. She thought to herself, only slightly believing herself.
Sitting up, she sighed again trying to force all her frustrations out with the air. As she settled in a more comfortable position with her feet tucked up on the chair, she hoped none of her peers from class would find her. Although, if she was being honest to herself, she almost wished someone would. Poppy hadn't been around much lately and Daisy was beginning to get rather lonely.
Let this be an announcement to all Hogwarts students!
Please return you books. I do not like spending the majority of my time tracking you down.
That is all.
