Its been awhile since my last post but this week has been a busy one. My son had a virtual robotics camp through his middle school and I've been trying to organize my loft to make it our learning station/my teaching station(VIPKID/maybe Outschool? Thinking of what classes I would offer on Outschool)/crafting station. I've also been working on my first custom tumbler.
I'm definitely keeping myself and my children busy during this time stuck at home but am grateful to have this time with them. Also, continually trying to find ways to get them off their devices during the day. I did an indoor scavenger hunt one day which they really enjoyed and the winner got their phone back....lol. I also had them write about what they would bring with them if they were stranded on an island. Looking for our next book we read together but they each have their own book to read too as long as they don't fall asleep while they're reading. My son's robotics camp gave us the idea to make paper helicopter propellers and balloon powered cars which was fun. My daughter enjoyed making bracelets with her kumicreator bracelet maker. I still feel that these activities fill such a small snippet of the day and the rest they spend napping, gaming or watching videos. Anyone have any other ways or activities that keep your kids busy?
'Till next time!
