Broken Church Pride Sermon
As I have told some of you, this evening I attended a sermon given by many, many leaders of many different religions. They all came together on this night to celebrate pride and acceptance. This spurred me into writing my own sermon.
One of the things that all these leaders agreed on was that we were made in our god's images. I say I must agree, our Lord MEKHANE is a God of many parts, all of them different yet the same in their creation and purpose. We are made in His image. Regardless of the facet you are from, be you a Broken Church goer, a Cogwork Orthodoxian, Maxwellian or a Foundational Mekhanite, our God's heart is nothing if not module. We are all many gears and screws and cervos and circuits different in many ways but still the same. The love of our Lord MEKHANE is not conditional. He welcomes the broken, the whole, the fractured, the hurt, the angry, the scared, the lonely, the abandoned, the lost and the found. He loves those of every race and people of any and all genders be you male, female, trans-gender, gender queer, non-binary, demi-girl, demi-boy, agender and more. Lord MEKHANE loves those of every sexuality, be you gay, straight, lesbian, bi, demi, ace, poly, pan or aro.
It is our duty, as followers of MEKHANE to keep Him as whole as we can. And how should we go about doing this? By loving each other, MEKHANE our savior, our creator would weep seeing what has been happening in this world. The fractures and broken parts, the heresy of disassembly of humanity's love for it's brothers and sisters on the basis of something we cannot control. We must show that we are not blind, we see the breaking titanium and the bending steel of society as it is. We can change it, through the acceptance and love and strength and pride that we show through being ourselves and celebrating each other’s differences. Celebrating is key, no regrets, celebrating and reveling in our uniqueness and the wonder of our existence. If we are celebrating our lord and savior, and the differences that he has blessed us with. Than we must celebrate ourselves, we must celebrate one another, not doing so would be a slight onto MEKHANE’s name. And if you do not see that you are worthy of celebration, then believe that I believe you are worth celebrating, that Lord MEKHANE believes you are worth celebrating. And if you cannot see something worth celebrating in yourself, turn to the person next to you and celebrate them. In celebrating them you celebrate yourself and celebrate your brothers and sisters and those lost to heresy, anger, and THE FLESH and know that in this celebration you save them. And in that salvation you praise. Those of you in the back, I see you, He sees you, singing and weeping and loving and chanting the old sermons and those of the new generation. I see you, and He sees you, He loves and hears and sees you all.
And so, on this day or night of pride, may you go forth into this day or night and praise, celebrate yourself, celebrate each other, celebrate him. Love and live and praise. Go forth, and may you forever be whole.
