I really don't want to paywall my content, but I'm backed into a corner. In late 2024 I had to get my thyroid completely removed, and now I rely on an expensive thyroid replacement medication called Tirosint. Insurance refuses to cover it, and thanks to the drug tariffs, the price of the drug is doubling in 2026. Unfortunately I am allergic to the fillers in the cheaper generics, so this is the only form my body will absorb.
