Long Days Work || Lexie and Drew (Short para)

In all of the time Drew had to pick where he wanted to specialize, he felt like he already knew where he wanted to be. Neuro. Drew's known this forever, ever since his father died all he could think about was being a neuro surgeon. He wanted to find cures for the tumor his dad had, he wanted to help others in his position. There were so many specialties he's already tried, Cardio, General, OB, and today, Neuro. Drew couldn't contain his excitement, it was like he was a little five year old waiting for a toy that his parents promised him if he did what they wanted. 

Drew made his way out of the intern locker room and followed the group of interns for rounds. When they went into the first room, Drew worked his way to the front of the group and spoke before the others could. "Jake Miller, 28, diagnosed with a butterfly tumor and 6 months to live," He spoke, "But we think we can change that," Drew smiled at the patient and went on about the case.
