"I've had amazing support from so many people that travel around the world to support me or send me messages, so my fans have been the thing that have kept me going, really been the rock. My mum has really been a phenomenal supporter, you know, and my dad and my family as well. I would say just luckily I've got those good people around me and then, as I said, each weekend I see young kids and adults rooting me on and reminding me why I do what I do and not to give up, which I'm really appreciative of."

“Definitely felt on top of it today. I was really happy with [the car]. I had such a really good launch, I got squeezed in between a couple of cars so I had to back off but then after that I was really happy with the position that I had into Turn 1 and Turn 4. I got really close to George. Probably in hindsight we should’ve tried to undercut him at that point, but going long didn’t pay off. Otherwise to move, after the penalty, to get back to 6th, I’m pretty grateful. Have a solid drive like that in front of the Tifosi. It's unbelievable driving here. I won't be going to the podium, but I will be out going to the wall and see them."
“I don’t think [there’s pace for podiums]. We got Max that's up there now. We don’t have the pace of Red Bull or McLaren. Today they (RB) were rapid. Currently we’re still 4th or 5th. Maybe if we do an exceptional job, we can pop off a podium here and there. There’s definitely a chance to now, at some point but in terms of pure pace we don’t currently have that.”
