Would it be possible for a demi-fiend to have demon companions as well? If not like the protagonist in Nocturne, then at least maybe have the ability to work with one demon at a time?
Possible? Yes!
However, unlike summoners that can receive a demon upon arrival as a demi-fiend you must acquire them via negotiation! Negotiation is simple, as demons will acknowledge you easily and communication is no issue then the process lies simply on your convincing skills and if you’re familiar with the in-game process, it goes from conversations/fights/using items to lure them to your side/etc.
How does that process works on Lisheol, though? You can just write it in a drabble/thread! But of course you can’t go around cheating and negotiating with a stronger demon…! I’m watching you! So for beginners you’re allowed to have low-level kind, for example: the adorable pixies, the infamous SLIMES, blobs and the like! Their powers would be limited to two active skills/one passive like the others just for a fair game. As you regain powers, you’ll be able to have stronger demons or acquire different skills for the ones you already have.
You’ll be able to negotiate with (1) demon! No, the demon can’t help you to seduce more to your side! They will only aid you to escape/acquire money for now! Things are never easy when you’re only a demi-fiend in the springtime of youth, after all…
Also, whatever harm may lay on you for trying is not our responsibility and I deeply apologize! Neither assume they’ll be in your entire control so they may get rebellious from time to time, try using your wits in order to show superiority and get a growing army of your own in due time!
