Liam? He was the head boy and a member of the ‘bed time patrol league’ (in charge of ensuring the 1st to 5th years weren’t sneaking out. Once you were past 6th year nobody really cared what you were doing. But she’d seen him around the common room sometimes…what could possibly want with her?

She stroked her owl’s feathers tenderly in thought, a pensive expression crossing her face as her eyebrows knit together in consideration. 

But perhaps she could saunter down there, Liam seemed a decent guy so there really was no harm…

She tentatively approached the portrait of the fruit bowl, tickling the pear and she had to fight back a grin that threatened to tug at the corner of her lips at the squirming of the silly object. 

“Liam?” She called out. The kitchens weren’t very big but he could’ve hidden behind towers of plates. 

“Oh! Beatrice- or, is it ok if I call you Bee?”

“Bee is alright-.” She waved dismissively, trying to appear nonchalant but failing as per usual. 

“What did you want to talk to me about.”

“Well it’s uhm- it’s less words…” he stepped out, purple icing sneered over his cheek. “I-…y’know- I heard it’s your birthday-.” (I know Bee isn’t until the 16th, I have a separate oneshot for that- I just figured, since everyone’s gifting you pics of Bee that it would make sense to treat it jointly???)

“Oh!”

“Yeah so uhm- y’know- Cari, my sister, she talks about you a lot- you’re in the same Care of Magical Creatures class…so I just- I figured I’d put my baking skills to something good…” 

It was a cake- a rustic kind, she was unable to tell the flavour just yet as it was slathered with decadent powder blue icing, a large sunflower decorating the middle with daisies adorning it periodically like a halo. Lavender decorated the edges of the cake, and he’d enchanted the bee designs to move around the surface of the cake. 

“Liam you- you didn’t have to! I-.” 

He cut her off with a careful hand on her shoulder. “Sebastian told me about your overthinking, I’m not a fan of Sallow but at least he cares for you. I struggle with the same thing, so I figured I’d help. And I figured you’d do what I’d do and waffle about how I shouldn’t have put so much effort in, correct?”

He raised an eyebrow 

“Yeah…yeah correct.” She said quietly, 

“Hey…” he nudged her shoe with the tip of his lightly. 

“Chin up birthday girl.” He smiled, pinning a sunflower into the back of her braid crown. 

“I’m not throwing a *big* party for you- just a very very small thing here in the kitchens. Sallow, Gaunt, Nattie, Poppy, me and anyone else you want to invite throughout the next…1 hour or so? Before the other guests make an appearance?” He smiled lazily, hair flopping to the side a little as he casually tilted his head, regarding her with curiosity. 

“Happy birthday, Bee.”

for HL, I surprisingly don’t ship anyone with canon characters…as a 15 year old, I was 13 when I started playing, so, like most others, I shipped my MC with Sebastian. Fair game ig. But now being the same age as him I know that at my age right now I would be be good at being emotionally vulnerable with my partner, especially since I relate to him, so I don’t have any canon character ships. My girl Avania Chase is dating Sylvia Fyrevale ( @rene-hl-trashcan ) and Cariad Faiythe is dating Ekrizdis Mors, also belonging to Rennie. But I do have Liam Calloway who I ship with Eloise Babbit ( @myokk ). Though recently j started thinking about developing relationships between my MCs and Canon characters so this will probably change soon…

Non HL era but still in the universe is Daphne Belcourt x Arthur Glasspetal, and later Zach Glasspetal. Both boys belong to @amethystandemma

he’s actually in there because he always has spare pads and tampons so girls call him in whenever they’re in need if they see him lingering outside, waiting for Cariad.

 Summary: In which Eloise accidentally wears Liam’s robe.

Pairing: Liam Calloway x Eloise Babbit ( @myokk / @oerflink )

Light flooded through the windows of the hufflepuff boys dormitories, bathing Eloise in honey light. Liams eyes cracked open blearily and the first thing he did was smile at the absolute vision beside him. His girlfriend’s hair spread across his pillow like a glossy halo, her lips parted, her chest rising and falling with every soft snore. And the best part was that she was nestled in his arms, wearing his jumper because he wouldn’t let his bunny sleep in just her school uniform- she needed pyjamas but obviously he didn’t have pyjamas for her so he changed her into his jumper and comfy bottoms. He couldn’t help but sweet her hair back to kiss her forehead.

“Bunny…” he croaked quietly, voice still hoarse from sleep.

“Mhm…” she murmured.

“Sleepy girl, huh? I guess five more minutes of cuddling won’t hurt anyone…” He pulled her closer.

“What’s the time?” She groaned, blinking herself awake so Liam could see the gorgeous green hr so adored. He reluctantly pulled away to check the bedside clock.

“‘S 7:45…” he didn’t expect Eloise to bolt upright and start scurrying out of bed, muttering very colourful phrases that would surely make Mrs Calloway faint. Liam let out a mock sigh.

“Leaving mr all alone in a cold bed? You’re so cruel, Miss Babbit.” But he stretched and got up to help her dress as a gentleman such as himself should. He placed a kiss to her shoulder.

“My smart girl, doing arithmancy  OWL’s…”

“Liam! Now is not the time! I’ll be late!”

Liam backed off, a lazy, lopsided smile on his face, hands held up in surrender. “Sorry bun. Outside the common room is a tunnel that brings you to the arithmancy corridors. Shortcut, yeah?”

She kissed his cheek (though he needed to crouch down a little), pulled on her robe and rushed out.

Liam was doing his NEWT’s, so he had a free first period/ so he could afford a slow morning. His eyes caught in a robe crumpled on the floor, far too small to be his. He inspected it closely and his eyes widened when the green Slytherin emblem came into view. 

“Oh sweet girl-…” he said under his breath before cursing. Eloise was screwed once she realised, she hated the attention. But oh god Liam couldn’t exactly run after her in his current state. So he changed at lighting speed- shirt not fully buttoned at the top, tie hanging loosely, wand tucked behind his ear and socks not matching as he hastily exited the forms, flying down the flight of stairs much to the disgruntlement of a 3rd year he bumped in to. 

He was panting by the time he reached her classroom. 8:15. Shit, people had probably realised by now. What’s a good lie a head big could tell to sneak Eloise out of class without bringing up the robe. He saw her panicked face through a crack in the door and his heart lurched in his throat. 

“Ahem?” He knocked on the door.

Eloise’ eyes shot open and he saw how frightened they were, her knee jittering.

“Yes?” The teacher raised their eyebrow. Liam knew them to be Professor Bellweather because Eloise tended to talk about him setting large amounts of homework.

“Can I borrow Eloise Babbit please? Mrs Weasley requested she join the mentoring program and the brief introduction meeting today. It should only take about 15 minutes and as head boy I’m her escort.” 

Professor Bellweather just grumbled and gave a nod to indicate for Eloise to leave. God the robe was so big on her. Obviously, they didn’t go to see Professor Weasley. Liam lead the brunette to a small empty classroom and let her hug him, a few tears prickling her eyes at the embarrassment. All he could do was stroke her back and whisper reassurances into her hair. 

“I’ve got your robe, bun.” He gently helped her shrug off his robe and put her own on. “Don’t worry-…” he swept her hair back so he could kiss her forehead. “Nobody will suspect anything. Everyone will forget about this by lunch- hell, maybe even break. Everything will be fine. I’ve got you…”

Liam has a cooking / baking channel and doesn’t understand the thirst comments.

“What the hell do they mean ‘raw’?! All of them are saying it but my food is perfectly cooked!”

He rants to Eloise ( @myokk ) it and she stifles laughs every time.

“Eloise? Can you help please? I made a video, requested, about how to prep chicken- and they’re all saying how they wish they were poultry. How do I respond? I mean should I make a video advising them on seeking help or-?”
