We went on a walk in the rain on Monday. Wore Norah in a rebozo in the Lisca. We attempted to take down the gym in town, but there were two 1300+ CP Pokemon guarding it and neither of us could withstand it even with six Pokemon. Then my app started screwing up and giving me an error screen every time I tried to battle. 😔 Norah bf'ed while we were attacking the gym. I'm getting better at multitasking. I love her hair when it's wet. So curly. 😍

Sometimes having an almost-threenager is peaceful.

Daddy: Do you know where we are?

Liam: Yes.

Daddy: Where are we?

Liam: I don't know.

Daddy: Well..?

Liam: On the road, I guess.

Daddy: That *is* a correct answer.

Liam: Sure it is.

Driving home from GNC Liam: "There are lollipops in the trunk." Me: "They're Popsicles, Liam." Jay (in his best family guy creeper voice): "I've got some Popsicles in the freezer down in the basement, why don't you go get one?" Liam: "Okay!" ... My sweet, sweet innocent child.

I got a stuffed crust pizza in the oven (and I'm not talking about baby D).

🙌🏻🍕🙌🏻🍕🙌🏻🍕🙌🏻 Water levels are going down, the expressway was clear today and the interstate is open, so that's good. It's supposed to start raining again tonight and not let up until Sunday. The water is still high, but I'm hopeful. I got my buddy boy here with me tonight, so that makes today way better than yesterday already. We are watching "Jinny Neutrunk". I'm sure he's already seen it twice today but I don't care. I'm just happy he's home. :)
