slowly, slowly dragging himself up the length of the bed to flop beside liam, faceplanting into a pillow. he's jetlagged and not coping. 🥀

It was the wee hours of the morning, and Liam was only awake because though his body was exhausted, his mind had been racing all day. So up he sat in bed doomscrolling.

He hadn't even heard the other come through the front door. Which, was par for the course. But his head did snap up seeing the familiar figure in the doorway. Flat expression, he watched Kurjak drag himself across the room, into the bed, only to faceplant into a pillow. Jetlag, he'd seen it so many times.

Getting himself up from under the covers, Liam moved around to the foot of Kurjak's side of the bed before unlacing the man's boots and gliding them off his feet, plopping them down against the wall. He then moved closer, grabbing Kurjak's coat at the shoulders to ease it down his arms and off his body; kissing his cheek in passing.

Tossing the trench coat over the dresser, he moved back to the bed to climb on top of Kurjak, laying his weight on the back of the man the way he liked. "Food or a hot bath first?" He asked softly, pressing butterfly kisses in the nape of his husband's neck.
