Chahid had seen Liam and Malakai together about three times now, the hand holding, the obvious glances, the general vibe they got from the both of them. Every single time they looked around to see what kind of reactions people gave, to see if there was hatred there, but there wasn’t. People noticed, sure, but it wasn’t bad, it was just glances. Yet even those glances made Chahid clam up. They thought of Mave and what they could be together, that they could have that, together. The two of them. But instead of bringing them happiness, there was just fear. 

They spotted Liam now at one of the tables, alone, nobody look at him, nobody giving him a stink eye. They ordered something to eat and slowly approached. “Hey, do you mind if I sit?” they asked.

Truthfully, CJ kinda wanted to cancel on Liam. Not because he didn’t want to see his friend or anything, but after returning from seeing Peter in Europe, he was just kinda…tired. He had been in and out of strange nightclubs for a week straight, and the boat was spacious but still a boat. But he owed it to his friend to show they could still have a good time in Blue Harbor, despite his time away and the shit that had happened in between. 

So he had Liam stop by the apartment for a bit of pre-gaming and then head out to Aurora, and it was easy to get lost in the heavy bass thumping from the large speakers, and the mass of bodies dancing on and against each other. The alcohol in his system did its job of loosening his already pretty loose inhibitions, and soon he couldn’t even fathom why he didn’t want to be out tonight.

“Dude!” He exclaimed, when he found Liam on the dancefloor after losing him for an hour doing…well, he wasn’t quite sure. “Tonight’s been fuckin’ baller, man.”

Talking with Liam [Stiles x Liam]

[Stiles]

Stiles knew that he needed to talk to Liam and if the male didn’t want to accept the whole mate thing then Stiles would understand. He knew it was a lot to take in and he wanted to try his hardest to make things work seeming as Liam was his best friend above all the rest of anything that was happening. Seeing the other outside, Stiles went over to talk to him. “Hey, Liam do you have a minute…”

[Liam]

Liam turned to see Stiles and smiled softly as he nodded, “Yeah what’s up?”

[Stiles]

“I was wondering...uh...you seemed a little freaked out about a few things last time we were together. I was wondering if you had any questions for me…”

[Liam]

“Oh about the um...yeah I’m fine....I really rather not talk about it.” He replied looking at the ground as he thought it was rather awkward. “Did you get through that all right?”

[Stiles]

“I was talking to Misty the other day...she told me that I….” He stops himself before continuing. “Yeah I got through it alright. It was a bit more painful than previous ones but I managed somehow.” He explains.

[Liam]

“That’s good...not that it was painful but that you got through it.” He said before looking back at the other. “I’m gonna go...I’ll see you later.”

[Stiles]

“Wait...so that’s it? You are just going to avoid me now?” Stiles asks while putting his arm out and taking Liam’s wrist in his hand. “Why can’t you just talk to me and tell me what you are really thinking. If you don’t want to be with me then tell me. If you need help understanding something then just ask….please just don’t walk away from me as if I mean nothing to you anymore.” He pleads.

[Liam]

“I never said that I just that was a lot. You didn’t even warn me before having your sister drag me there under false pretenses. It’s like you ambushed me. I wasn’t ready and you didn’t think about that. So I need some time.” He said taking his hand back. “We are still friends just I need some space.”

[Stiles]

“Look I didn’t know she was going to do that and I didn’t know my heat was coming that early. I didn’t tell her to ambush you or anything like that. I wanted to explain everything to you before the heat would act up again but you didn’t let me. Friends...so then...does that mean we aren’t together anymore? As in...you want to break up?” Stiles asks.

[Liam]

“I don’t know Stiles I just don’t okay. I still haven’t told my parents and it’s like if I do they will ask all these questions about things you haven’t told me. You don’t think it was important to share all this when I was at your house or we went out drinking? If there was something about sirens you needed to know I would tell you. I don’t know what you want from me.”

[Stiles]

“You said that you told your father when you found me almost dying remember? I wanted to share it with you but you were the one that left me there to deal with my heat by myself. You even suggested my sister help me. I asked if you had questions and you said you couldn’t think of any because you were too busy worrying about everything else. When we were drinking all you talked about was my sister. I want to know what it is you want me to do. Get a list of questions from them  I will answer them if they want to know.”

[Liam]

“Fine yeah I’ll do that just not now. I haven’t even told them I’ve had sex. Things are different for me. I told you this, my parents just got back together and this is the kind of stuff that will tear them apart again. My mom hates your parents and my dad loves my mom but supports me, I don’t know what to do. Just be my friend for now.”

[Stiles]

“Just a friend...yeah okay. I-I can do that. I just...the bond...we are still bonded what am I supposed to do? D-Did you want me to break it?”

[Liam]

“Could you? Just until you know I...just yeah you should. I will try to talk to my parents about you and everything, but until then you should just go back to wanting to be my friend.”

[Stiles]

“In order for me to break it...I would have to sleep with someone else.” He explains.

[Liam]

Liam looked away and just nodded. “We aren’t dating you can sleep with whoever you want.”

[Stiles]

“You know I can’t sleep with anyone other than you. I have never...I have never done something like that with anyone else..I don’t want to do something like that with anyone else.” Stiles shakes his head.

[Liam]

“I don’t know what you want me to say Stiles....look I will see you later. Do it or don’t, it doesn’t change the fact that I’m not ready. Not for all that. That’s...that’s forever. You are making me promise you forever and I can’t. Not when there is so much on my shoulders.” He said offering the boy one final smile. “I really will see you later”

[Stiles]

As he listened to Liam’s words, Stiles was feeling a mix of different emotions that he had no idea how to deal with. “I...yeah...okay. Just find me whenever I guess...goodbye Liam.” His heart was hurting as he walked farther and farther from Liam but he had no choice.

Training [Liam x Cameron]

[Liam]

Liam wasn’t really in the mood to train after the last past days but he knew it made his dad happy so he figured he might as well. It also got his mind off of the memories he had gotten from Misty. He couldn’t stop replaying them in his mind, the moans, the touching, the screams...he couldn’t even talk to Grace without seeing Misty naked and riding Nibs in his mind. So he figured if he trained that would all go away. Hopefully.

[Cameron]

Cameron knew that it had been a few days and that he knew he had to do something about Liam wanting Misty. It was something that was not something that would make him and Noah proud. He knew he had to fix it. He was waiting for Liam to come down for his daily training session and he knew that he had to do since it seemed that Liam seemed much to distracted for training as of recently and he wasn’t going to let anything keep Liam from being successful as a potential new king. “Liam come here please.” He instructs the boy once he comes down to the training room.

[Liam]

Liam yawned as he made his way to the training room. He wondered if he could ask his dad a way to make the visions stop but that would require admitting he seen them and that was not something he wanted to talk about so he just stayed silent on that. “What are we doing first?”

[Cameron]

“Come here I want to see something.” He responds before biting down on Liam’s neck and seeing what was bothering Liam over the past few days. The images that passed through his mind made him feel sick. Pulling away, Cameron had a disappointed look on his face. “What have I told you about touching people without their permission Liam. You shouldn’t have such thoughts about her like that. Purebloods can make people see and believe what they want. I will take those images away from you and show you how the venom can help fix this.” The male bites down on Liam’s neck before injecting venom into Liam’s system. Pulling back he spoke, “You are no longer to think about Misty in a sexual manner, you will be repulsed by the thought of doing all those things she does with her husband with her. You are to think of her as just a mentor and friend nothing else. If you need to practice flirting practice on someone else who isn’t in a relationship. Also, stay away from Jack. He has murdered and tortured our kind. If you were to be seen hanging around him, it would destroy your image. You are soon to be king Liam. You need to be careful who you are seen with and around. Is that clear?” He responds.

[Liam]

The boy went to his dad before feeling the bite on his neck and rolled his eyes as his dad didn’t even ask if he could see his memories. He pulled away from his father and just groaned. “It happens when I touch anyone, it’s not intentional. I just...I don’t know and it’s her fault. I can only see what people are thinking of. So she was thinking about that so I saw it.” He replied before feeling Cameron bite into his skin again. “Yes I understand.”

[Cameron]

“Tell me how you feel, how does the venom make you feel. Do you have any questions for me that you want to ask me? Anything you are too scared to ask me you can ask me now and I shall be honest with you. You can either chose to fight the venom or let it control you, the choice is yours.” Cameron responds knowing that this would show him just how strong Liam was.

[Liam]

Liam just looked at Cameron and forced himself to stay silent. He really didn’t want to have this conversation with his dad when everything he was feeling would just come out with no filter. The venom was incredibly strong though and caused the boy to open his mouth before he shut again and shook his head.

[Cameron]

Cameron knew if he kept pushing it the venom would win so that’s what he was planning on doing. “Come on Liam, talk to me. Surely there is something on your mind so go out and say it.” He waited for the boys eyes to flash green before he would spill what he was thinking. His venom was some of the strongest there was and he knew that since Liam was still not fully a pureblood, he wouldn’t be able to resist it.

[Liam]

Liam’s eyes flashed green upon hearing Cameron’s words and he just said everything he felt, “I like her. Even without the memories I like her and I can’t stop thinking about what I saw but I also like him so my body feels all weird and my hand is only as good as it can get and there is no one on the island my age so I’m talking to my ten year old sister like she’ll get it but she doesn’t. I know mom went out with Jack, I’m not supposed to know so I pretend I don’t but I do. I saw him leave for his birthday and it pisses me off because you are working so hard to get him back and he isn’t trying. Or if he is I haven’t seen it and Grace doesn’t know any better so she just believes things will get better but I know they won’t. And you know I really hate this venom, and I know you used it when you and mom were first together because again I know a lot more than anyone thinks I do.”

[Cameron]

The pureblood listens to what Liam had to say before nodding his head. “It’s natural to fall for someone who is a mentor to you and supposed to be there for you. What you are feeling is completely normal. It took me a while to figure out who I was into. What you are feeling has a name, it’s called being bisexual. It means that you like people of both genders. You should try talking to Stiles, I know that he is a few months older than you but I think that if you were to talk to him or Ken it might straighten up a lot of things. You are all similar in ages so I think that might be beneficial for you three.” When he heard Liam mention about how that’s how Noah and him first got together he nodded.

“You are right I used venom when I first met your mother because that's who I was. Most of the people I venomized I ended up killing but there was something different about Noah. I don’t know what it was but it made me want to be a better person for him. But I couldn’t bare the thought of what I was doing so I freed him from the venom and told him that I was letting him go. He didn’t want to leave and he wanted to see if we would work out and we did. I don’t know what changed recently but your mother was the reason why I wanted to leave behind the old ways which we used to have, I wanted to leave behind the part of me that never cared for anyone.”

[Liam]

“No dad you don’t get it. It’s more than just a crush I want to do very inappropriate things and the sad thing is I have no idea how to do any of things I want to do. Like that’s pathetic and I want to talk to you and mom about it but I can’t because mom walked in on me masturbating and literally had a panic attack and you have a lot on your plate so I just stay silent. But I am just very stressed at the moment. I also want to shut up but I can’t because you violated my personal feelings with your venom.” He said before nodding. “Yep Nibs said something like that earlier and you know what’s funny I believe that if you were originally someone you will always be that person deep inside and I couldn’t say that to Nibs because I was afraid he was going to beat me to death. But you want to know how I really feel if you venomized mom to stay you could just do it again, I mean that’s who you are. No offense and if Nibs is going to have babies with other people he probably will again because that’s who he is. Just like mom is sleeping with Jack, even you said that’s what he was doing, which is no surprise because mom probably slept around a lot as a kid. And Misty well I don’t know, she cheated on Finn from what Finn said so I’m sure she will cheat again because that’s who she is.”

[Cameron]

“No Liam people can change. I am proof of that and Nibs is proof of that. Being put through certain situations can cause someone to change whether it be for good or bad. I won’t venomize your mother because I promised him I would never do that to him ever again. I am not the same as I used to be and yes I have urges to do that to make things easier but I would never do that because he would hate me forever and I would lose him forever if I were to do something like that. I know my boundaries Liam and it’s time for you to learn yours. He won’t go and do that because Misty is his mate and imprint. If he were to cheat or anything like that he would end up dead. People can change Liam it takes time and patience but it is possible. You just have to believe that you can make the change and it will happen. Misty never cheated on Finn, Finn was the one that was cheating on her before anything even happened. Had he not done any of that I am sure that Nibs and Misty wouldn’t have gotten together when they did. You need to believe that you are strong enough to make the change Liam, you have to want to change or else it won’t work. Yes people are capable of their previous behavior but they won’t always resort and default to it. Not if they find the right person.”

[Liam]

“Mhm again I’m gonna have to disagree with you. Normally I would nod and say you’re right but you asked for this so I’m just being honest. Things happen for a reason. Yes I know but at the end of the day you can’t change anyone. They will always be who they are and you either accept it or leave. If you are saying Misty and Nibs are only together right now because Finn was a complete asshole then something will happen to break them up because they are supposed to be together. Like who wants to say I’m with my husband because I was beat and we fell in love. Mom obviously hasn’t changed or he would be able to keep his legs closed and you haven’t changed because you just venomized me. So again, no one changes.”

[Cameron]

“There is a difference I am venomizing you to teach you a lesson. I can’t speak for Misty and Nibs because I don’t really understand the whole imprint thing that well since it’s a shifter thing. I can’t speak for your mother but I am showing you the effects of venomization. You won’t know how it feels until you experience it yourself and experience how it makes you feel and act.” Cameron explains. “I don’t go around randomly venomizing people to sleep with them and have them as a constant food source as I used to. This is the first time I am using my venom in a long time and now it’s time to take it out since I assume you have had it long enough to know how it affects you correct?”

[Liam]

“Yes you can take it out now.” Liam said looking at Cameron.

[Cameron]

“Alright I shall do so.” Cameron steps forward and removes the venom from Liam. “Now, before we start training I want you to keep something in mind. I do not want you going to Jack for anything. I don’t care what your mother says, I don’t trust him. You are a child and he will use that to his advantage, he tried to violate certain people on this island against their will. I do not want him to do the same to you.

[Liam]

When the venom was gone Liam felt absolutely mortified at what he said. Nodding his head he looked at his dad, “Can I go? I just um...I think I just need a second to realize that my life is over.” He said. “And I didn’t mean to make it seem like mom is a slut or anything that’s not what I meant and you wouldn’t just you know venomize people randomly…”

[Cameron]

“I am not going to ground you Liam. I wanted you to take this as a learning opportunity. I know you didn’t mean it in that context and that is fine, I wanted the truth out of you and that is what I got.” Cameron explains while he notices Liam’s embarrassment. “Nothing to be embarrassed about son. You don’t have to apologize for how you feel.”
