The last thing Liam Jones wants to do is leave on a commission weeks before his wife is due to give birth to their first child. Both knowing the importance of this venture, he promises to push his crew to make this trip run as quickly as possible. Belle, understanding of the demands of his position as Captain of Queen Snow’s Royal Navy, continually assures her husband she’s no ill thoughts about his upcoming departure.

Two weeks after the Jewel of the Realm leaves port, little Dylan Jones is born.

Before father and son can be introduced, however, the Evil Queen’s plans to destroy Snow White and Charming’s happy ending is enacted.

Belle Gold, a kept woman by way of her husband’s decisions, grows restless of her life as a housewife and reclusive mother. She loves her newborn son more than anything, but her husband isn’t exactly the man she wished for her son’s father.

Needing to get out of the house just once, a simple evening out for herself, Belle leaves Dylan with his grandfather and ventures into the heart of Storybrooke. For reasons unknown to her, she’s drawn to the Rabbit Hole; a bar of the sorts Belle normally wouldn’t choose for herself. But who was she to argue with her own instincts?

Finn Brendan, owner and primary bartender of the Rabbit Hole, has known that something’s been missing from his life for as long as he can remember.
