Lani sat in the guidance office, wearing her red sundress and sandals, looking around at all of the decorations and people, when she saw a boy her age walk in and told the woman behind the counter that he was here for orientation. This caught Lani's attention as the secretary told him to sit beside her and wait till someone came to give them a tour. Lani being, well Lani, gave a smile and small wave to the boy as he sat down before blushing and awkwardly looking away. "Hey my names Lani. I'm going to guess that you're new here too?"

   { Always making sure to be well aware of her surroundings, it is not difficult at all for her to pick up on the sound of footsteps. They come one by one behind her. Not in a way that is intended to come across as menacing or ominous in any way, but steady. The person seems to be at ease at the moment. Not particularly liking to allow a person to get too close without having seen his or her face beforehand, she turned ever so slightly so that she can look over her shoulder to a degree. So that her eyes can catch sight of the approaching figure. }
