Why bash on the Devils. Toronto the city and the media hasn't let Auston rest since the draft same with Edmonton/Mcdavid. I mean the Pens with Crosby and he was the number one draft pick back like in 1974 or something. Every team is extra af when it comes to that. Why be so salty with New Jersey Bc it's not some Canadian team that drafted him ? Petty LaBelles if you ask me. Enjoy your boy and your team babe !! Y'all deserve it.

I agree that Nico needs rest lol, he’s going along with it gamely but he needs time to absorb the shock of getting drafted, going first overall, etc. So I think the Devils should wait a bit before they do the whole whirlwind tour of the state, take him everywhere thing.

My problem is that I’ve just been seeing so much NJ hate about how we have no fans and we’re irrelevant and how Nico isn’t dead, he’s just a Devil now. We haven’t had an exciting thing happen in a while. I mean sure we went to the finals in 2012 but that was like the Oilers in 2006, a bit of a surprise after a bunch of seasons where we had first round exits. We literally haven’t made the playoffs since 2012 anyway lmao. So like the Leafs getting pumped about Auston, like the Oilers getting pumped about Connor, the Devils are using Nico to build around, both on and off the ice.

You think Auston living with his dad he have more than paper plates so maybe that anon wasn't so off about him and Mitch living together. They do carpool everyday. Maybe they're in that we're not official living together because we're not official together but theres some of Auston clothes in Mitchs drawers and two tooth brushes and Auston can't remember the last time he knocked when he did come over from his own house and just a giant mess of clueless teenage boys

They each have a condo but Auston crashes at Mitch’s so often that he’s not really living in his own condo anymore. When he talks to the team he still says he lives at his own address, but he wakes up every morning in Mitch’s bed and digs through Mitch’s drawer for his missing sock and his shampoo is next to Mitch’s in the bathroom. After he runs out he just starts using Mitch’s shampoo and they start smelling like each other.

Then when some of the boys come over to Auston’s, they’re like “Dude you’ve been living here for months why do you still have paper cutlery and no groceries and no cleaning supplies” and soft team dad Mo is very concerned and puts it on his Christmas shopping list to get Auston some utensils.

And yes Tyson in my eyes is only a Dom when Nate is involved other than that his mission in life is to be Dom by the entire Avalanche team.
