Liam could barely believe he'd actually managed to get to sleep when he slowly opened his eyes. It had been a rather eventful night, but he'd wound up cuddling his half-comatose boyfriend in his arms and even humming a tune gently to him in the hopes of comforting him. Really, Dorian had only gotten a little tipsy, but he felt so strongly protective of the other male, more-so than he ever had for any other partner, and a part of him worried that something bad might happen to Dorian if he closed his eyes for even a second. But here he was, waking up in a happy little cocoon with his boyfriend ... oh ... with that awful addition he just couldn't control. He wondered if Dorian had noticed, but when he moved a moan escaped him and he knew he had. "Uhm ... g'morning tiger." He smiled sleepily.
Dorian panicked. He opened his mouth to say something, but he didn’t know what to say. He looked up to Liam’s face, a little desperate and then, Dorian tried to move the blankets aside so he’d leave the bed, but somehow he found himself cocooned inside the blankets. “I’m so, so, so sorry.” He begged, frustrated that every movement of his, he could feel more and more of Liam’s arousal and it only made him more aroused as well. He bit his lower lip when he felt another whimper trying to leave him. He closed his eyes, feeling his cheeks burning more than it had ever before, and he was sure Liam would kick him out of the bed at any time now and be disgusted by Dorian.
Liam could tell instantly that Dorian was uncomfortable with the situation, and he felt bad for having inadvertently caused it - until he felt Dor's own erection brushing against his groin, and a tiny gasp escaped him as a flood of pleasure washed through him. "Dor? Please don't be embarrassed ... happens all the time, right?" He asked with another sheepish smile, trying to dislodge them from the covers a little but winding up nudging closer to his boyfriend again.
Dorian bit his lower lip more forcefully at Liam’s gasp. Opening his eyes slowly, he looked up at Liam and was grateful when he dislodged them from the cover, but then he gasped when Liam cuddled even closer to him. “Lee…” He said slowly, not moving a muscle, being all tense. “If you… If you keep me close like this I won’t… be able to cool down.” He murmured, embarrassed. He couldn’t help but feel embarrassed. It was a rare thing for Dorian to wake up like this, and when he did, he used to stay in bed thinking in random things until he cooled down and left his bedroom. Usually, he’d at least have a dream that would trigger his morning wood, but this time he couldn’t remember any dream. Maybe it was Liam’s presence that made him feel aroused in the first place.
Liam shuffled backwards a little way and tilted his head slightly against the pillow, stroking his thumb down Dorian's bicep because he couldn't bear to just let him go completely right now. "Hey ... it's alright. To be honest ... if that's because of me ... well, at least I have the right effect on you." He nodded gently and smiled a tender smile, trying to make his boyfriend feel better. "W-would you ... maybe like me to help you ...?"
Dorian considered what Liam said about the right effect, and, well, if they were boyfriends, they should feel aroused and hot for each other, right? However, when he heard Liam’s suggestion, his eyes widened and his mouth fell open. He stuttered some noises before finally being able to speak. “H-help? You… You mean… Like… You know…” And at that, Dorian made an absent minded movement with his hand, not really resembling anything, but he expected Liam to understand it anyway, because he couldn’t bring himself to say it out loud.
Liam nodded slowly again. "Mmhmm. I mean, I wouldn't touch you unless you absolutely wanted me to, but ... well ... has no-one ever given you a hand-job before, babe?" Liam asked softly, feeling such love for the seemingly innocent boy lying across from him, but not daring to say anything more, sure that it'd terrify him.
Dorian tensed all over, thinking how on Earth his hard on was still there. Seeing his embarrassment, one would have thought he wasn’t more in the mood, but instead, Dorian seemed even more aroused. He shook his head slowly. From the exception of his brothers, no other boy had ever seen him naked before, let alone touched him there. He wanted to flee from the bed, lock himself on the bathroom, cry, whatever. However, his whole body was yearning to be touched and cared for. Dorian then nodded, in a silent question for Liam to touch him. He was still a little tense and didn’t even know how to react to this, but he wanted it, and it was so good to see in Liam’s eyes that the boy wanted it too.
Liam felt his heart-rate quicken when Dorian nodded. He wasn't necessarily expecting to be given the permission to go ahead and help Dorian out with his problem, especially since no-one had ever done this with him before. The temptation was too great though, and a part of him sensed that Dorian would probably feel even more self-conscious if Liam suddenly backed off. He slowly, gently, ran his hand further down Dorian's arm and gave his hand a tender squeeze of reassurance, leaning forward and nuzzling their noses together. "I promise I'll be gentle." He whispered, brushing his lips gently against Dorian's while moving his hand gently forward, pressing down against the fabric of his boyfriend's boxers and sighing against his lips.
Dorian got a little closer to Liam, nodding again and knowing that Liam wouldn’t be anything but gentle. He closed his eyes, letting his lips close to his boyfriend’s but not actually kissing, not yet. Dorian gasped when he felt Liam’s hand pressing against the fabric of his boxers and without even realising, Dorian grinded his hips forward, so he could feel more. After realising what he just did, Dorian opened his eyes and looked at Liam, a little embarrassed by his eagerness. He mumbled “sorry” before looking down to see what Liam was doing with his hand. Dorian brought his hands to Liam’s chest, holding on the fabric of the shirt there, trying to school his breathing not to sound so breathless now, but his heart was already slamming hard in his chest.
Liam pouted against Dorian's lips. "Shhh - don't be sorry. That just tells me I'm doing something good." He urged softly, pressing the heel of his hand against the length of Dorian's erection and rubbing slowly up and down. It felt wonderful, connecting with someone again like this, and knowing how much it meant to Dorian made it all the more special. "You feel incredible, Dor." He sighed.
Dorian gasped and bit his lower lip before he could moan, but he didn’t look away from Liam’s hand. It looked obscene, but so right and hot that Dorian didn’t even care. At Liam’s words, though, Dorian looked up and blushed, not knowing how on Earth Liam would think that. “You… You feel incredible too.” He whispered, not trusting his voice. Dorian moved his hips forward again, this time not apologizing, but he looked in Liam’s eyes anyway. And it was then that Dorian urged forward and kissed Liam, letting his tongue wander inside of Liam’s mouth and kissed him with intensity. The kiss and Liam’s hand combined made Dorian moan loudly, but he didn’t pulled away from the kiss when it happened.
Liam hummed deep in his throat, achingly turned on at the sight of the boy he cared so much for as he reacted to his touch in just about the hottest way possible. When Dorian leaned forward and locked their lips together he sped the pace of his hand a little and shuffled closer, close enough to that he could rub his own crotch against his boyfriend's body every now and then. It was nothing too forceful, but he got the feeling that Dorian might actually get much more gratification from having them both be getting off at the same time. Liam needed Dorian to know just how sexy the guy made him feel, and how much he craved the closeness with him. When the heated kiss broke, he rested their foreheads together and panted for a few moments. "Oh Dor ... please tell me this is good for you?" He almost whined, lost in the intensity of what they were doing.
Dorian whimpered when he felt Liam’s erection against his body and before he could think straight, Dorian let one of his hands wander down his body until he reached his hard on. This made Dorian gasp loudly, knowing that it was the first time he touched a boy there, even if it had a layer of fabric between his hand and their cock. “This is… This is more than good.” He panted, and looked at Liam to reassure him he was loving every second of it. And how couldn’t he? The boy he liked was touching him in a really delicious way and wanting to make him feel good, while Dorian was trying to make Liam feel good as well. It’d only be better if they took of their boxers, but only the thought of it made Dorian blush. “Am I doing it right?” Dorian asked, stroking his length a little awkwardly, but determined to make him feel good just as much as Liam was making him.
Liam growled to himself and rolled his head back when Dorian's fingers suddenly found their way down to his length. "You're doing p...perfectly, baby ..." He sighed again brokenly, gently thrusting against the other male's hand. "Do you maybe wanna ...?" He raised an eyebrow and reached down with his free hand, taking Dorian's and raising it gently, pushing his fingers towards the waistband of his underwear and urging him to delve down into them.
Dorian nodded and then gasped when he felt Liam’s erection skin to skin with his hand. He closed his hand around his girth, giving a firm stroke just to test it before starting to stroke it more profusely. Having Liam in his hand and Liam’s hand on him was another level of perfect. In that moment, Dorian was feeling connected with someone like he had never before, and it didn’t feel dirty or wrong. It felt right, felt perfect. Dorian was panting, then, and looked back at Liam’s eyes once he started pumping Liam in a quick rhythm. “Liam…” He moaned the boy’s name, but didn’t look away. Instead, he just rolled his hips, trying to get even more attention.
Liam nodded quickly. "M'right here, baby ... right here." He groaned, his eyes fluttering shut and his own hand wandering, gently teasing down into Dorian's boxers and stroking downwards with his fingertips, twisting and feeling every inch of the heavy length in his hand. "Dorian ... my beautiful, darling boy ... who also happens to be hot as hell." He gasped as Dorian's hand connected just right against his skin and made him whimper. "Holy ... /jesus/."
Dorian moaned wantonly at the feeling of Liam’s hand on his length. “Liam…” He moaned again, trying to get even closer to Liam, pulling him by the neck with his free hand and then locking them together in a kiss, but soon enough he pulled away, panting. “I… I can’t…” Dorian shook his head, not really sure what he meant by that. It was all too much and it was all too good, and he couldn’t think properly, couldn’t focus on anything else except from the pleasure he was feeling and trying to reciprocate the best he could with his mind not working properly.
"Oh god yes - kiss me." Liam begged when he felt Dorian tugging him forward, nipping and sucking at his boyfriend's lower lip and rocking their bodies together in a delicious rhythm. He bit his own lip at Dorian's statement - it felt like heaven to watch someone fall apart just from his touch, and a part of him wanted this moment to last forever. It felt so strange to be in control to an extent in the bedroom too ... it just wasn't something he was used to, and he was surprised at how well he was coping with it. "I know, baby ... it only gets better, I swear it. I'm going to worship you every chance I get ... you're beautiful and you're mine." He insisted, rocking a little harder and leaning his head down to pant against Dorian's shoulder, turning his head and planting a few hot kisses against his neck. "Any time you want to let go, baby ... just let go."
Dorian knew how an orgasm felt, but he had never been so worked up before, so he could only imagine how it could possibly feel to come now, but he wanted it to last longer, he wanted it to last forever. But he knew he couldn’t. So he just nodded slightly, moaning, rolling his hips accordingly with the rhythm made by Liam’s hand and continued to stroke Liam’s cock. However, his moans stopped and he couldn’t even breath properly, but before he could even worry about it, he came, letting go all the air that was in his lungs while he muttered Liam’s name. Bliss, ecstasy, nirvana… All those words couldn’t describe what he was feeling, but he couldn’t be better. Noticing his hand had gone lax when his orgasm hit him, he resumed stroking Liam again, more enthusiastically now, wanting to make him feel everything Dorian was feeling now. Dorian looked straight in Liam’s eyes. He didn’t want to miss the moment when he came.
Liam loosened his grip just a little when he noticed how ragged Dorian's breathing had becoming, not wanting his boyfriend to wind up choking for air when he was meant to be enjoying all of this. He stroked lazily, still rocking and humming against Dorian's skin, and then suddenly his hand was being coated in a warm sticky liquid, and he sighed in ecstasy. "Perfect." He whispered, the only word he could think to say at that very moment. He felt almost in a post-orgasmic haze himself, until Dorian's fingers moved again, and he was jolted back into life by the aching need to come himself. When his boyfriend locked eyes with him it sent a shock of pleasure running right through him, and he keened into Dorian's hand, coming harder than he ever had in his entire life. When he was suitably spent he reached down between their bodies and stilled his boyfriend's hand, leaning in and capturing his lips in another steamy but completely exhausted kiss. "Wow." He sighed eventually.
Dorian was marveled by Liam’s expression when he came. He was beautiful, and that was then that Dorian promised that he’d have this for the rest of his life, because Liam deserved to be as ecstatic as this every day and Dorian wouldn’t want to share it with anyone ever. Liam was his boyfriend, and if Dorian had any choice about the future, they’d be together forever. “Yeah, wow.” Dorian said, and then giggled, letting his body relax completely on the bed while he looked straight at Liam. “This was… Perfect. You’re perfect. And I… I don’t want to sound as a pervert or anything, but I want this all the time.” This didn’t exactly mean the sex part, but everything related to it and to Liam. Dorian thought that had he done it with any other guy, he wouldn’t have felt as satisfied and giddy. It was because of Liam and Dorian’s connection that it was this perfect, and Dorian wanted this connection to last forever.
Liam hummed softly. "/You're/ perfect, Dor." He whispered, nuzzling his nose against his boyfriend's cheek, the warmth of it making his heart swell again. "I want it too ... all of this. I feel so different around you compared to everyone else ... so safe, like nothing's ever going to hurt me. I've never actually felt like it before - it's kind-of overwhelming if I'm honest." Liam continued quietly, not sure if he should be admitting all of this right now, but seemingly unable to stop his mouth running away with him. "But I promise I'll never hurt you, Dor - your smile is like sunshine to me, and if I don't get to see it every day, I think I'd die."
Dorian beamed, feeling extremely delighted at his words. “I feel this way too, Lee.” He said, cupping Liam’s cheek with one hand and stroking his cheek with his thumb. “I trust you. I know you’ll never do any harm to me. And I want to make you happy too, I want to be able to always make you smile and never do anything that could make you suffer in any way.” Dorian was probably babbling, but he couldn’t contain himself. “I’m glad you gave me the chance to try.” Now that they were boyfriends, Dorian would make anything within his reach to make sure Liam was happy for having him by his side. Dorian felt that Liam would make him perfectly content and satisfied in every possible way. “I’m just so… overwhelmed too. There’s so much joy, excitement, and even want inside of me that I can’t really focus on only one. But, to be honest, I just need to focus on you and I know I’m happy.” And, saying so, Dorian kissed Liam chastely on the lips.
Liam smiled fondly, his heart swelling again. "Then let's be happy together." He whispered, resting his forehead against Dorian's and just breathing in and out, feeling more contented than he had in the longest time. Pretty soon he felt another wave of tiredness wash over him, and he slept soundly for several more hours, the best rest he'd had in years.
[Dorian and Liam had just eaten and were about to go to the fountains and wait until midnight so they could watch the fireworks. Dorian was surprised to be marvelled by Vegas, but it was such a beautiful place.] I'm still speechless, Liam. This place is... wonderful. [The boy said, looking up at Liam and smiling. He was happy and he couldn't wait to midnight.] Thank you. For invinting me.
Liam couldn't quite believe that he'd managed to pluck up the courage out of nowhere to ask Dorian out - he kept having to pinch himself to make sure that he wasn't dreaming, because it just wasn't something he would do. Liam Smythe didn't ask people out, for fear of horrible rejection. But somehow he's plucked up the courage and done it, and now he was about to have that lovely guy knock on his door. Liam was so scared he'd already had to change his shirt, having sweated right through the previous one. When the knocks at the door came he had to will himself to get to it, and when he opened it, Dorian looked a little upset with him. "Uhm ... a-are you okay? Hi. You look ... wow. Hi."
Dorian let go the breath he didn’t even realise he was holding and looked at Liam, blinking a couple of times before lowering his head and feeling his heart pound fast in his chest. “Hi.” He replied in a small voice, but opened a small smile at hearing Liam’s voice. “I’m fine. Sorry, I’m just a little nervous.” Dorian said, looking back at Liam and mustering every ounce in his being to not look away. He needed to be more confident, so he’d look Liam in the eye. “You look ‘wow’ too.” And he blushed even harder, but didn’t look away, his smile becoming slightly bigger now. “Can I…?” And he waved his hand to show Liam that he meant whether he could come in or not.
Liam was relieved when Dorian spoke and wasn't angry like he looked. He felt a flush rise in his cheeks when he was complimented on how he looked too. "Well, thank you ... and of course you can!" He insisted with a big grin, nodding quickly and opening the door wide for Dorian to come inside. "Can I get you something to drink?" He asked, moving towards the fridge and grabbing a can of diet coke.
Dorian nodded and entered the room, closing the door behind him, not really sure if he should sit on the bed or what. He looked up at Liam before replying. “Sure. Anything without alcohol will do. Thanks.” Dorian decided to be bold, then, and sat on the middle of the bed, but then he was feeling nervous again and started playing with the hem of his overcoat. What was he supposed to do now anyway? “I tend to repeat some of the lines of the movie.” He blurted out, not knowing where it came from, but remembering people always thought it was annoying. “I also speak with the characters.” He said, looking at his own hands, a little ashamed of admitting it. “Do you mind?” He asked in a small voice.
Liam nodded and took another can of coke for his guest. "Don't worry - I don't really drink unless it's a celebration or something, so you won't find any alcohol here. Although, I mean ... I really should be celebrating having met you, at the very least." He smiled softly, feeling a little weird for having said that aloud, but it was true - he was very grateful for this opportunity to be with such a lovely guy. He chuckled when Dorian mentioned his little movie quirks. "I won't mind those things one bit, I assure you. Mainly because I sometimes do the same thing."
Dorian took the coke from Liam with a small ‘thank you’, before opening the can and sipping it. However, he almost choked himself at Liam’s words, coughing a bit before looking at the boy and thinking that he had most certainly hit his head or something, because how could it be a good thing to meet him? Dorian was nothing but ordinary – or even something less than that – so Liam must be crazy. He looked away, though, feeling a little embarrassed, but at the same time happy for such compliment. “Oh, good, then.” Dorian said, sipping his drink again. “I can say Bilbo’s lines and you can do that with Gandalf!” He brighten up a little, looking back at Liam, feeling a little bit more relaxed.
Liam nodded, laughing at the Gandalf reference. "Alright then ... my British accent is very poor though, I must warn you." He insisted, cueing up his blueray player with the movie and then sitting down on the bed beside Dorian without a moment's thought. "Uhm ... I have a really comfy blanket if you'd like to lie under it? Oh god ... I should take your coat! I'm such a bad host!" He jumped up and held his hands out for Dorian's coat.
Dorian giggled, not really knowing if his accent was good or not, usually being shushed before someone could compliment it – or tell him how bad it was. But he didn’t actually care, he had fun with it, and was usually so enthralled with the movie to think about how the words were actually sounding. “Oh, no, you’re not a bad host. Sorry.” Dorian said, getting up and taking his coat off, together with his scarf. He then smiled and looked at Liam again. “It’d be really amazing to lie under the blanket, yes.” And he hesitated a little, not sure if he should pull the blanket or wait for Liam to do so. Dorian decided to wait.
Liam took Dorian's coat and scarf and put them on the chair at the side of the bed, grabbing his blanket and sitting back down beside Dorian, draping it over both of their legs and then shuffling back a bit, grabbing one of his pillows and propping it behind them. He pressed play on the remote and then took a chance, raising his arm and holding it out behind Dorian's back. "Uhm ... would snuggling be awful? I'm kind-of a cuddle-bug ..."
Dorian rested on the pillow at his back and felt really comfortable there, but then Liam said about snuggling, and Dorian tensed all over. From the exception of his brothers, he had never cuddled up with anyone before. Guys, girls, or even little animals. However, Dorian just blushed and, avoiding Liam’s eyes, he replied. “No. No, it… it’d be really great, to be honest. Yeah.” He wanted to say more, that he was a cuddle-bug too, that he was feeling all sappy and giddy just for Liam wanting to cuddle with him, that he had never thought a boy would want to stay like that with him. But he didn’t say anything, too shy to speak out loud. He kept his hands on his own thighs, but let his body lean over Liam’s, flushing together their sides. Dorian tried to relax, but it felt like his mind was in overdrive and his whole body was rigid and he was not paying the slightest attention to the tv.
Liam was grateful that Dorian was okay with them snuggling, and for some reason he was way more relaxed than usual about getting close to someone new. But he could tell that Dorian wasn't comfortable, and that worried him. He put his other arm around the front of the male's body and gave him a huge, tight squeeze, loving the smell of Dorian's hair as it hit his nostrils. He took a deep breath and hummed happily. "Do me a favor, Dor ... think of me as a big teddy-bear, and just get comfy."
Dorian couldn’t help but laugh loudly at the comparison, and that did the trick. Dorian instantly relaxed and let Liam hug him. He was still giggling a little when he let his own hands wander Liam’s arms and kind of hold him back. It felt nice to be embraced like this, and there was something about Liam that made Dorian way more comfortable than he had ever felt before with another guy. “I’m sorry. I’m not used… to this. There was only one boy that I got this close that wasn’t from my family, and it lasted like, ten minutes.” He said, remembering his first – and last – kiss, and how awkward it felt. “And now I’m going to spend the next three hours with a boy like you holding me like this.” Dorian felt his cheeks blush even more, but the smile didn’t falter. “Thank you.” He said, honestly, and turned to look at Liam’s face, almost tilting his head back when he realised how close they were.
Liam sighed happily when Dorian noticeably relaxed against him, and he listened carefully to his story, his breath hitching in his throat when he realised that this amazing guy was so inexperienced - it just seemed like a crime to him. When Dorian thanked him, he wanted to close the gap between them and kiss those sweet lips in his own show of thanks ... but it felt like he'd be cheating Dorian out of something somehow. "I don't even know what for ... but you're welcome. You're an awesome person, Dor - a true diamond." He insisted again.
Dorian looked away, but had a big smile on his face. He was feeling warm and cared, and he never thought he’d feel like this, so of course he had to thank Liam. “You’re awesome too, Liam.” He said, looking at the tv and although he noticed the movie had already begun, he continued to talk with Liam – he wanted to hear more of his voice, know more about him. “I still don’t know why I’m here though. You could have half of the Uni here – actually, you could have the whole Uni, since you’re bi and stuff. I’m not complaining. In fact, I’m really happy, promise.” He babbled a little, looking at Liam again, not knowing if he should be speaking at all. He chose to keep quiet then, not wanting to make Liam uncomfortable or to bother him. Dorian looked back at the tv, but was actually seeing the movie.
Liam scoffed against Dorian's hair. "Hardly. Maybe I don't want the whole college ... maybe I just want that one special person I can hold in my arms and call my own. In fact ... that's exactly what I want. I have all this love to give, and I need an outlet for it." He said, half-watching the TV. He realised Dorian had gone quiet and decided to watch the movie for a which, smiling against Dorian's hair again, and chancing a little kiss to his head when a particularly sweet part of the movie made him chuckle.
Dorian widened his eyes and held his breath, but didn’t tense again. He half wished he could be this person Liam wanted, but something inside him said it was impossible for him to be this person to anyone. He had a lot of love too, and Dorian was sure that if he ever had a boyfriend, he’d give everything he had to make the boy happy. But Dorian knew he wasn’t exciting, extraordinary or even sexy. He was just smart and had thirst for knowledge, but it didn’t mean he would be what Liam or any other boy wanted. Dorian looked at Liam again when he felt the kiss on his head, and his heart was pounding so hard Dorian truly thought he might as well pass out. He didn’t say anything, though. Just gave a small smile and returned his attention to the movie.
Liam could feel Dorian's heart pounding and chose to just stay quiet again for a bit. He wasn't great at knowing exactly how to care for a person when they had anxiety issues or whatever, and he didn't want to make things worse. He also couldn't work out why anyone's heart would be racing because of him anyway. He tried his best not to, but he could feel himself relaxing so much as they quietly watched the movie, he was close to falling asleep. He reclined a little more and purred happily to himself. "God ... you give good cuddles."
Dorian looked at Liam when he complimented him, not really knowing what to say. He wasn’t doing anything. In fact, it looked more like Liam was cuddling him up while Dorian was just there. So, to not feel like he was being selfish or anything, Dorian ran his hands on Liam’s arm and unconsciously brought the arm in front of him more closely to him. He also let one of his foot touch Liam’s ankle and foot. He didn’t even know why he was doing this, but he was enjoying it. “Thank you. I’m sure yours are better than mine, though. I mean, you have long limbs, and muscle, and I’m just floppy like a pudding.” Dorian also thought how much he liked to be wrapped up in those long limbs full with muscles. He blushed when he realised he was not only thinking how loving it was, but how sexy it would be.
Liam appreciated the slight changes in the other male's positioning, all the while feeling like he was making progress and not even quite realising how. He was just as nervous as his guest, but that didn't deter him like it usually would. "You are not like a pudding, Dorian. You're cute, and hot, and you have this way about you ... it's really very appealing."
Dorian looked puzzled at Liam, not quite believing in what he just said. “Hot? You mean like… hot-hot? Again, Liam, are you sure you’re not mistaking me for my brothers? Atticus is the one who’s hot – he’s all graceful and flexible – even Kaiden is, too – he had a boyfriend, after all. I’m just… not.” He was not saying that in a hateful way. Dorian did think his brothers were hotter and sexier than him and he didn’t care. But he wanted to make sure Liam was not going for the wrong brother, because he was not hot at all and he knew that. But then the rest of the sentence sank in. “This way about me? What do you mean?” He tilted his head a little, still looking at Liam and noticing how green his eyes were and how gorgeous he was.
Liam pulled back slightly so that he could look Dorian in the eye instead of being at an odd angle. "No - I meant you. The hottest thing about a person for me is when they're unassuming and don't even realise how gorgeous and appealing they are. And that's totally you, if you don't mind me saying so. And ... okay, how can I explain the 'way about you' thing? Uhm - okay, well take Bilbo Baggins - he was just this little guy, leading this little life, and something happened all of a sudden that made him this incredibly important thing in the world ... and that moment when we first got to talking, I so needed someone in my life to just talk to me, and listen, and have a conversation - and you became my Bilbo. My unexpected hero. Even if we'd never spoken again, that silly little conversation meant so much in that moment ... and that's your 'way'. You were like a little beacon of light and you drew me in."
Dorian gasped, blushing harder than ever before. He had never had a boy to say all of those stuff to him before, he had never thought someone would actually think all of that of him so he just stayed there, eyes widened and mouth open. When Liam said he was like Bilbo – his Bilbo nonetheless – he was almost having a panic attack, but at the same time he couldn’t be more happy and excited. He felt himself trembling a little at the words. “I-I…” He wanted to say something, but he didn’t know what. He felt a bit dumb for not being able to form words, so he just blinked, still looking at Liam. Then he blurted out “Are you going to kiss me now?” He didn’t even know if he wanted to be kissed or where that question had come from, but the moment felt right. Dorian didn’t know what to say to Liam, but he felt the same way towards Liam, but how to even tell him? Maybe a kiss was the right thing to happen either way.
Liam was about to ask if Dorian was okay, because he was looking at him strangely and not making a sound, but then he was beaten to it. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't still desperate to kiss those lips, but should he? Really? Or would he just be taking advantage of a vulnerable situation? Or was that not what all first kisses between two people were? "Uhm ... I'd really like to. But I don't know if I should." The truth escaped Liam's lips and he inwardly kicked himself for not just taking that chance when he had it.
Dorian furrowed his brows, confused. Was he the only one to feel like they should kiss? Was he reading too much into it – even after everything Liam said? “Why?” He asked, honestly confused. “Is it everything you said a lie? Because if it isn’t, I don’t understand why you shouldn’t.” Dorian then remembered he said he only got this close to a boy once, in other others, Liam must be thinking he hadn’t kissed anyone and didn’t want to be his first or something? “I’ve already kissed before. Only once, but if I’m too bad of a kisser we can stop and don’t talk about it again.” He had no experience. 10 minutes hardly counted as experience, but he wouldn’t know if he didn’t try.
Liam pouted fondly at his friend's words and tilted his head, completely full of compassion for the guy. It was unusual for him to feel like the 'together' one in a conversation, but right now he sort of was. "You really are the sweetest, loveliest, most precious person I ever had the fortune to meet, Dorian Hummel. I can't even believe I'm talking myself out of kissing you because it's all I've wanted to do since I opened the door. Just ... always be my friend, okay? No matter what." He begged, not wanting the kiss to ruin everything if sparks didn't fly. He unclasped one of his hands from around Dorian's body and reached up to stroke the boy's cheek very gently. He licked his lips, his face flushed hot again, and leaned in very slowly, brushing their noses together for a moment and then tenderly brushing his lips against Dorian's in a couple of soft, sweet kisses. When he pulled back he didn't even want to open his eyes, scared it would all have been another dream.
Dorian didn’t understand why he’d stop being friends with Liam, even if they kissed so he just nodded. When Liam lifted his hand to touch his cheek, Dorian closed his eyes, marveling the sensation of the stroke. He giggled a little when Liam brushed their noses together and then kissed each of Liam’s kisses back, noticing how perfect his lips felt against his own. Dorian slowly opened his eyes when they pulled back from the kiss, and he was breathless and giddy. “Can we kiss again?” Dorian whispered, as if it was a secret, but in fact he just didn’t want to ruin the moment by being loud and awkward. But he wanted so much to kiss Liam again. Dorian moved a little so he’s chest would be turned for Liam, so it wouldn’t feel weird to kiss his with only his head to the side.
Liam almost melted at the sound of the tiny giggle that escaped Dorian's lips, and then those whispered words made his heart soar. "It would be my absolutely pleasure." He whispered back, angling his own body so that they could face each other better and smiling, hovering above those sweet lips again and then swooping in for another kiss, this time being slightly more assertive and pressing harder, gently sucking Dorian's lower lip between his own and sighing happily again.
Dorian almost couldn’t contain his happiness when he heard Liam’s reply. He didn’t know what he had done to deserve such an amazing guy, but he was glad he was having this moment with Liam. He closed his eyes again before feeling the lips against his again. Dorian tried to kiss as hard as Liam, but scared of being weird. He felt his body shiver when Liam sucked his lower lip. It was everything his first kiss hadn’t been, and Dorian was happy to be able to feel this. He had always heard Kaiden say how it had felt with Brady, and Dorian was so happy for his brother having found true love, but a part of him thought he would never be able to feel it too. But now, although he wasn’t in love, he knew how it felt to kiss someone he cared, someone he liked enough to feel comfortable with while cuddled together under a blanket. He pulled away slightly, letting his forehead rested on Liam’s. Dorian opened his eyes and bit his lips. “Is it weird or wrong that I’d much rather spend three hours kissing you instead of watching The Hobbit?” After all, Dorian never thought a person would distract him from his geekness.
Liam almost wanted to whimper petulantly when the kiss broke, but having their foreheads pressed together actually felt even more intimate than the kisses in a way. He laughed softly and winced slightly. "Is it wrong that I was thinking the exact same thing?" He added with another sigh. "Although three solid hours of kissing can be mighty painful on the lips, later on at least. Or so I'm told - I've never kissed anyone for that long before." He smiled, moving his hand back down to Dorian's back and stroking his thumb gently up and down the fabric of his shirt. "I'd hate to ruin those lips too - they're heavenly."
Dorian giggled happily at Liam’s words and he nuzzled closer to the other boy, don’t wanting to let him go. “How long have you kissed someone before?” And after he asked this Dorian realised he shouldn’t be asking this because it was impolite and it could make Liam uncomfortable. “You don’t need to answer, obviously.” He murmured, but didn’t look away. But then he opened a small smile and kissed the tip of Liam’s nose. “Silly. It would be worth it, though, wouldn’t it? I’m leaving tomorrow, I’d rather still feel your kiss while I’m away instead of being sad that I could have kissed you more but didn’t.” He pouted, then, realising that he would miss Liam and he barely knew the man. It worried him a little, but he was trying not to overthink things and just let things happen. Liam seems like an amazing boy and he made Dorian feel comfortable and happy, so it was more than Dorian could have ever asked for.
Liam snuggled down so that the two of them were now basically lying face to face on the bed, all thoughts of the movie forgotten for now. It felt so natural, being like this with Dorian, and they fitted so perfectly in each other's embrace ... it was a wonderful feeling, and one he'd never actually experienced before. He'd always felt awkward with the few people he'd been with before, but with Dorian, even though the awkwardness was still lying there under the surface, it somehow didn't seem to matter all that much. Dorian's admission about how much he just wanted to stay there and kiss Liam made his heart feel like it was swelling about three sizes in his chest. "Is it crazy that I feel like I'm going to miss you SO MUCH when you're gone that I could actually cry a little bit?" He pouted back, rubbing noses with Dorian and then kissing him softly again. "You'll text me and stuff, right? And maybe we could skype too?" He asked hopefully once he'd broken the kiss.
Dorian wondered for a moment how natural it felt to be laying down with Liam like that. He had only done that with his brothers and his parents, and even when he had other friends, he didn’t felt comfortable with them. Maybe there was more to Liam than Dorian thought. “It’s not crazy.” He answered, shaking his head to prove his point. “I’ll miss you too. I’ll probably buy you something before coming back, because it’s Christmas and you deserve it.” He had no idea whatsoever of what to buy Liam, but he wasn’t going to return with empty hands. “Of course I will. We can skype after midnight? I could even call you if you aren’t near a computer, maybe?” Dorian bit his lip, wanting so badly to spend his Christmas with Liam, but now he already had set that he was going home again. “Are you going to be okay staying here?”
Liam frowned a little when Dorian started talking about getting him something. "Nooooo ... I don't need anything, I promise. Except maybe one thing ..." He cooed affectionately, squeezing around Dorian's middle and leaning in to chance another kiss. His lips lingered against the other boy's for a few moments before he could summon up the willpower to pull away, but it was getting harder every time to do so. "Speaking to you at midnight would be wonderful. But please, if you're too busy with family and stuff, please don't worry about me. I'll be alright ... I have friends here now, and they won't let me get too down. And even though I'll be sad because I'll be missing you like crazy - heck, I'll be missing this incredible guy who actually enjoys my company and wants to kiss me and talk to me ... it's hard to be sad about something like that for long."
Dorian was about to tell Liam that he wanted to give him something when the other boy kissed him and Dorian smiled into the kiss, kissing back and trying to remember how it felt to have Liam’s lips pressed to his. “Don’t worry, Liam. Once we start eating, I’ll be free to call you, so we can properly wish Merry Christmas to each other.” Dorian giggled, but didn’t look away from Liam. He was so handsome, how could he be enjoying kissing Dorian when he was that wonderful of a man? “I’ll miss you too. That’s why I want to call you. So I can hear your voice.” He closed his eyes then, a little embarrassed for confessing this. When he opened his eyes, he was feeling more excited, when a sudden idea struck him. “I’ll be back on the 26th or 27th, okay? Can we meet, then? I’d love to see you when I return.” And then Dorian could give Liam his present too, if the man agreed with him.
Liam felt his cheeks redden and he glanced away shyly. "I don't think anyone's ever told me they'll miss not hearing my voice before. Thank you, Dor." He whispered, nuzzling the boy's cheek with his nose. He pulled back and broke into a huge grin when Dorian spoke of coming back to him. "Are you kidding me? OF COURSE I want that! I'll be counting the minutes." He insisted with wide eyes, softening them after a moment and just taking in all of Dorian's lovely face. "You are so pretty ... I think I could look at you all day." He sighed happily.
Dorian blushed a little, but giggled. No one had said they’d miss him at all either, so having Liam there to tell him this was the best feeling in the world. “You don’t have to thank me.” He whispered and closed his eyes when Liam nuzzled his cheek. “Okay, then I’ll let you know when I arrive here. I can even come here to your dorm when I arrive. Would you… mind?” Dorian bit his bottom lip, considering that maybe he was being way to forward and that Liam would feel uncomfortable with his sudden visit when he arrived. Dorian blushed even more at Liam’s words, and he couldn’t help but open a big smile. “You are the pretty one, I’m just… regular.” He shrugged. Liam was marvelous, having such amazing features, he couldn’t understand how the other boy thought Dorian was pretty. “Thank you, though.”
Liam nodded excitedly. "Yes! Come find me! I'll be right here, keeping your spot warm." He grinned, hoping that didn't sound forward, but this was suddenly his favorite place to be in the world. "You are so NOT regular, Dor ... god." He scoffed with a chuckle. "You have these beautiful eyes that sparkle like stars. And your voice is so musical ... and your little cheeks ... I just wanna kiss you all over. But I won't." He insisted quickly.
Dorian chuckled, closing his eyes and hiding his face on Liam’s neck. “In a winter like this, I do hope my spot is warm by the time I return.” Dorian looked at Liam, then, whishing not to sound presumptuous or anything. Liam was being a sweetheart for letting him visit him now and then again when he was back to Wintergrove. Dorian wanted to look away at Liam’s compliments, but he fought against it, he shouldn’t feel embarrassed, only grateful. By the end of Liam’s speech, Dorian was completely red, eyes a little widened, but with a silly smile on his face. He didn’t know what to say so he just whispered “Thank you” before kissing Liam once more.
Liam tilted his head and chuckled fondly when Dorian kept hiding his face - the guy was just too cute for words. "Oh, and you're adorable too." He grinned, humming against Dorian's lips when he kissed him. He opened his mouth slightly and sucked on the boy's lower lip again, nibbling and then lapping at it very gently with his tongue, the temptation too strong to resist.
Dorian didn’t answer this time, instead, he closed his eyes and let himself get lost on the kiss. He felt himself shivering a little at Liam sucking his lower lip and then by his tongue, and he couldn’t help but get even closer to Liam, flushing their bodies together. Dorian ran his own tongue smoothly by Liam’s lower and upper lips, not only feeling his taste but also how soft his lips were. Dorian decided, then, that he had an addiction, and he wouldn’t survive if he couldn’t get enough kisses from Liam. He only hoped this make out session wouldn’t be a one-time thing. Sighing happily, Dorian instinctively tried to enter his tongue on Liam’s mouth, so he could deepen the kiss.
Liam couldn't help the tiny moan that escaped his lips as he felt Dorian's tongue seeking access into his mouth, and he spread his fingers out over the boy's back, as if needing to touch as much of him as he possibly could all at once. He allowed his tongue to dance around a little with Dorian's, loving the taste of him and almost forgetting to breathe for a little while. "Mmm ... you're a gorgeous kisser." He sighed against Dorian's mouth when he broke for air.
Dorian blushed when he listened the moan, and although he felt a little terrified at the sound, he also noticed how marvelous it was to hear it from Liam. However, Dorian understood why Liam moaned. The touch of Liam’s tongue on his was driving Dorian crazy. It was the best thing in the world and he wanted even more, but he felt a little scared of his own feelings. When they pulled away, Dorian didn’t even open his eyes, still too enthralled by the kiss. He let a complaining noise escape him before speaking. “You are… amazing.” He breathed out, opening his eyes. Dorian ran one of his hands through Liam’s hair and gave him a little peck on the lips. “This is so good.” He murmured, closing his eyes again.
Liam smiled warmly. "Sure is ... and you're the amazing one." He whispered, leaning into Dorian's touch and closing his eyes too. "You really don't mind if we just stay like this, Dor? I don't want to be ruining your last afternoon here by cooping you up in my room."
Dorian hummed something before opening his eyes and looking at Liam’s gorgeous face. “I don’t mind, really. In fact, I can’t imagine how this could be better.” He stopped for a second and then started giggling, imagining that they could continue kissing for the rest of the afternoon, but he didn’t want to make Liam think he was perverted or something. “Are you getting bored? Do you like to go out and do something else?” He then looked at the TV and then back at Liam. “Or we could finish watching. It still has half the way before the end.”
Liam frowned in bemusement at Dorian's giggles, the happy sound causing him to laugh too. He shook his head quickly. "Bored? Not a chance. I just didn't want you to feel like you had to be here ... like this." He urged, trying to make sure that Dorian didn't think that he'd just been expecting to drag the boy to his bed. "You're just slightly intoxicating, that's all."
Dorian sighed happily when Liam confessed not to be bored. He did wish to stay there after all. “Believe me, Liam, if I didn’t want something I’d tell you.” And to prove his point, he gave a quick peck on Liam’s lips, just to show him that he was indeed enjoying staying there. “You are the one who’s intoxicating.” And Dorian truly meant it. Before this day, he wouldn’t believe that spending hours kissing someone would feel this good, so it was probably something Liam related, kisses aside, but he wasn’t going to tell Liam this; he was too embarrassed to admit such a thing.
"Okay, good. In that case, you probably won't mind if I do this ..." Liam purred gently, rolling Dorian onto his back and leaning over him, falling into another slow kiss. It was intimate and deep without feeling like he was being too passionate - basically he just wanted the other male to feel like the only other person in the world right now - because Liam would be completely contented if that was the case
Dorian gasped when he suddenly laid back on the bed, but then he was already being kissed, and the feeling of staying exactly like that with Liam was just perfect. He kissed back, just as deep as the other man, running his hands by Liam’s back and pulling him lightly so he would have to lie down on Dorian. It should have worried Dorian that they were laying and kissing in that position, it was way too intimate, but Dorian couldn’t care less. In fact, he was enjoying this new way more than before. He tried to deepen the kiss, but a moan escaped him and he pulled away from the kiss with a startle. “Oh, God, I’m so sorry.” Suddenly Dorian was really embarrassed. He could feel his body starting to respond to Liam’s kisses, and a million things ran through his mind as of what Liam would think of him.
Liam gently moved with Dorian's urges until he was flush against him again, trying not to crowd him but loving the feeling of closeness. He reached up and cupped the boy's cheek, running his thumb along it tenderly even though his mind was beginning to race with much hotter thoughts of where he'd like his hands to be. Dorian's moan sent a shiver right down his spine, but then he pulled back and frowned with worry. "Sorry for what, sweetness?"
Dorian swallowed hard, looking straight at Liam and trying to calm himself by Liam’s apparent calmness. At least he didn’t look like he was mad or anything. “I just… Hm… The noise I made.” He whispered, looking away, a little ashamed. “I didn’t mean to do it.” Dorian forced himself to look at Liam again, so he did just that and bit his lower lip. Liam had moaned earlier, but Dorian thought it had been beautiful, nothing compared to his own, and he started feeling self-conscious. “Sorry, I just…” He closed his eyes, trying to focus on his own thoughts. “I guess this is normal, right? To have the urge to… to moan and… held you closer, to feel you every time more.” He then looked at Liam, still nervous. Was he being too weird for not knowing how to act on a situation like that?
Liam pouted again. "Oh, Doriaaaannn ... how can you be this adorable?" He sighed softly, stroking the boy's cheek again and urging him to make eye contact. "Listen ... what we're doing right now ... it's entirely normal to get aroused and to make sounds you might not usually make. It's all part of being attracted to someone ... and wanting to be close and intimate with them." He nodded sincerely, lowering his voice to a whisper. "And just so you know, that sound you made was just about the hottest thing I ever heard."
Dorian blushed and pouted, wanting to disagree that he was adorable – how could his inexperience be considered something adorable? But then he listened to everything Liam had to say about it, and he held in a breath, thinking it was really hot that Liam was explaining this to him, that he wanted Dorian to understand. He was about to open a smile when Liam said his moan was the hottest thing. Instead he blushed harder and widened his eyes. “H-Hottest?” He stuttered, embarrassed. Dorian could accept being a lot of things – adorable, cute, talented even – but hot wasn’t one of this things. “Have you looked yourself in the mirror? You are hot, I’m a potato.”
Liam's face fell. "Don't you dare call yourself that, Dorian ... promise me you won't do that again - please?" He urged, aware he was probably sounding stern, but it broke his heart to think of the other male thinking that he was anything less that gorgeous and sexy. "It's all in the eye of the beholder, babe ... and you ..." Liam leaned down and kissed one side of Dorian's jaw. "... Are ..." He moved to the other side and kissed below the boy's ear. "... SO hot." He breathed, leaning down and capturing Dorian's lips again, completely overcome with how much he wanted to prove how attractive he was to him.
Dorian was a little dumbstruck by Liam’s reaction. He truly meant what he said, but he didn’t expect the other boy to react that way. Dorian only nodded while Liam was talking, shivering a little when Liam kissed below his ear, but then closing his eyes so he could properly kiss Liam back. He didn’t believe he was that gorgeous, but he decided that if Liam thought so, he would at least believe in him. He trusted Liam, so why don’t trust him when he says he’s beautiful or hot? Dorian would take some time, but would eventually believe in that, he thought. He pulled back from the kiss and smiled to Liam. “Thank you.” And Dorian kissed him once more.
Liam was grateful that Dorian kissed him back, worried that he may have overstepped in being so determined in his statement - but he felt a great deal for the boy already, and he needed him to know how amazing he was. "You're welcome. I'll say it every day that I know you, and never not mean it." He insisted again, planting several more kisses to Dorian's lips to emphasize his point
Dorian giggled at Liam’s words, too happy that he was actually acting silly, but he didn’t care. Liam was so cute, Dorian wondered how on Earth he found that man, but he wasn’t complaining. “I’ll like that. But be careful not to burst my ego, okay?” And he laughed, because it would be impossible for his ego to grow that much. He cupped Liam’s cheek with his hand and brought him closer for yet another kiss. This time, Dorian didn’t even hesitate before opening his mouth and searching Liam’s tongue with his own.
Liam nodded with a cheeky smile. "I'll try." He chuckled, grinning against Dorian's mouth and then allowing him to deepen the kiss again, letting out a sated sigh through his nose as their tongues collided again. They stayed like that for several minutes, making out in a relaxed, lazy fashion, hands wandering over one another's bodies in soft gentle strokes. Liam pretty much felt like he'd died and gone to heaven, and wondered what on earth he'd been doing differently to suddenly get this chance at happiness with a gorgeous, wonderful boy ... or was that all too much to hope for?
Dorian smiled happily at his answer and then lost himself in the kiss. He had never experienced such a thing, but now he decided this was one of his favourite things to do – however, he knew that it was more because of the person instead of the act itself. Dorian let himself work on instinct, kissing in a lazy way, but biting lightly or even sucking Liam’s lower lip every now and again; he also let his hands wander, never going under the waist, but feeling every muscle under layers of clothing. He was so enthralled by it all that he let some moans escape without even realising he was doing it. Some minutes later, Dorian’s body was starting to feel too hot and urge even more touches and when he realised it, he pulled away and sighed heavily. “Just give me a minute.” His eyes were still closed and his voice wasn’t louder than a murmur. He wanted to calm himself down before kissing Liam again.
Liam was completely lost in all the kissing, and pulled back sheepishly when Dorian wanted to stop. "Uhm ... I'm sorry, Dor. Think I got a little carried away there." He frowned, rolling onto his back on the bed and resting his hand on his chest, staring up at the ceiling. "I didn't mean to, I swear it. I couldn't push you, even if I wanted to."
Dorian opened his eyes, then, shocked. “No. Liam, no, I didn’t… I didn’t mean it.” He shook his head to prove that he wasn’t stopping because of Liam. “It’s just… me. I’ve never felt… All that with someone before.” Explaining this would be a little weird. Dorian hadn’t even had the habit to even get this intense with himself, so it was him the problem, not Liam. But how could he tell the other boy that? “You’re not… pushing me.” Dorian said, lifting himself on an elbow to look better at Liam. “I’m not feeling as if you are, anyway. I’m just not used to all of that, and suddenly I wanted to touch you more, and, and, open my legs so you could be even closer to me, and then my… parts were starting to urge some attention and it’s all too soon to do anything anyway, so I just had to breathe a little to calm myself down and not make a fool of myself.” Dorian was babbling, but he was nervous and at least he was being honest. His cheeks were red and he was embarrassed, but it would be better to explain all of this to Liam than to the boy freak out thinking he had done something wrong.
Liam listened to Dorian's words, and began to feel even worse. He turned his head towards him and frowned. "But ... I really should have known that you were feeling that way, or been able to sense it and pulled back, but instead I just carried on crowding you and making you uncomfortable. And I don't want to do that, Dor ... I want you to feel good around me, otherwise you won't want to see me again. And ... god, I /really/ wanna see you again, Dor." He insisted with sad eyes.
Dorian gasped, his eyes widening while he listened to Liam. How could the boy possibly think it was somehow his fault? Dorian sat on the bed, turned so he could look at Liam’s eyes and cupped the man’s face, making him look straight back. “Liam, stop.” Dorian was speechless, this boy was too good to be true, and at the same time it was a marvelous thing and something terrifying. “I do feel good around you, and I’d be completely mental if I didn’t want to see you again. You’re not a telepath, you don’t have to know everything, but I’m… I’m willing to tell you whenever I feel uncomfortable or something.” He mumbled the last part, but continued. “I kinda like it that you are so… enthralled by me and my kisses. It makes me feel hot.” He whispered the last part, darting his eyes away while he finished, but then returning to look at Liam again. “I just… I’m still getting used to… this. And I know you won’t do anything, but you don’t have to… freak out or something.” Dorian tried to reassure him, but he was a little taken aback by Liam’s reaction.
Liam smiled softly, not being able to help himself because the boy beside him was just so sweet. "Oh Dor ... what did I do to deserve this chance to get to know you better, hm?" He whispered, looking deeply into the other boy's eyes and speaking as sincerely as he knew how. He reached up and stroked Dorian's cheek with his thumb. "You're so wonderful. Tell me more about yourself - what's your middle name? Your favorite book, or animal, or song? I wanna hear it all." He nodded, his eyes shining expectantly.
Dorian blushed, but chuckled. He was grateful that Liam had calmed down, what made Dorian lay back on the bed, looking at him. “You’re amazing.” He mumbled to himself before replying to his questions. “Middle name: Louis; Favourite book is a hard one, but I’ll have to go with The Shadow of the Wind; Animal: Cat; Song I can’t really decide only one. But I’m a sucker for My Heart Will Go On. Blame the movie or whatever, but it moves me every time I hear it.” He half-shrugs, liking this thing about telling their most trivial, but favourite, things of them. “How about you?”
Liam turned slightly where he lay and pouted fondly as Dorian answered his questions. "You are so adorable it hurts." He sighed, only half to himself. "Me? Oh, uhm ... Arthur ..." He pulled a face at that. "... book? The Five People You Meet In Heaven. Animal would be bears, and song? Uhm ... I'm a Beatles nut, so probably something like Yesterday or Hey Jude."
Dorian nodded while listening to his answers. “Arthur? I like this name, it’s just like the King. And, well, King Arthur Pendragon has always been a crush of mine.” He chuckled, hoping it didn’t sound as if he was desperate for a king or something. “I think I didn’t read this book, though. I’m more of a classic geek – or supernatural related stuff, like magic. What is it about?” And he was curious, because if it was the favourite book to someone, it might be a really good book for some reason. “Bear is a really cute choice, but I’d be terrified of seeing one without bars between us.” Chuckling, Dorian continued. “Beatles are the best, so I can totally understand.”
Liam rolled his eyes. "I hadn't actually thought of it that way, but I guess that makes the name a little cooler, perhaps. I'm far from a king though ... I'd be lucky if I made court jester!" He chuckled. "You haven't? Oh, well it's not exactly the happiest of stories. The main character dies at the beginning, and then the story revolves around who he meets in Heaven. It's kinda sweet, but it'll make you cry ... and I don't really want you to cry, babe." He pouted again, reaching up and stroking Dorian's cheek again. "I've actually seen a few bears roaming around in the wild in Canada ... it was a little scary, but also totally exhilarating - like I was on their territory or something." He chuckled and then stifled a yawn. "How come lying down always makes you sleepy, huh?"
Dorian gasped, not believing Liam hadn’t thought about it. “How so?” He then laughed, glad it made him a little happier at the name. “Why not a king? Come on, you’d at least be a mighty warrior.” Dorian looked pensive for a moment, actually imagining Liam in a shiny armor and he would have totally swooned if he was alone. “Oh, I’m actually used to cry with books, so don’t worry. I’ll survive.” He nodded, closing his eyes and then smiling. “I’m going to read it once I finish The Once and Future King – in other words, ArthurArthurArthur.” And he laughed alone, having just realised that the book he was currently reading was about King Arthur. Oh, the irony. “Oh, God, really? But... did they do anything?” Dorian couldn’t even fathom how it would be to see a wild animal without bars or anything to protect him from them. “I think it’s really because of act of lying down, to be honest.” Chuckling, Dorian kissed Liam’s cheek. “Do you want to sleep?”
Liam shrugged and chuckled again. "I love that you think I could ever be a mighty warrior or a king or whatever. In reality, I'm far from it." He sighed, closing his eyes again. "Don't hate me, but I really am kinda sleepy all of a sudden. My sleep patterns have been a little out of whack just lately, and I go through phases of being suddenly exhausted, even when I don't want to be. And I really don't want to be right now, cos I just wanna talk with you forever." He whined, rolling onto his side more and burying his face against Dorian's clothing. "Sing to me? Something from a musical ... please? That'd either wake me right up or lull me off into a peaceful slumber, I know it ..."
Dorian giggled, hiding his face on Liam’s shoulder. “Oh, please, we’ll see about that.” If Dorian was a damsel in distress, he was sure Liam would become a prince or mighty warrior just to protect and save him. He then almost slapped himself for comparing himself to a damsel in distress. Shaking his head to clear his own thoughts, he listed what the boy had to ask and blushed. Dorian loved to sing and to perform, but doing so in front of only Liam was really embarrassing. However, he was going to do it. He sat on the bed, and prepared to sing. “I’m going to sing The Phantom of the Opera’s Think Of Me. It’s a girl song, but… Well…” He closed his eyes then, preparing himself to sing, and then began to sing it. The song was one of his favourites, and it was challenging as well, but he had mastered the song on his first semester at Wintergrove, he would not stumble in any word or note. “Think of me. Think of me fondly, when we've said goodbye. Remember me once in a while - Please promise me you'll try. When you find that, once again, you long to take your heart back and be free - If you ever find a moment, spare a thought for me. We never said our love was evergreen, or as unchanging as the sea - But if you can still remember, stop and think of me.” He then opened his eyes, looking at Liam’s face and opening a small smile while he continued to sing. “Think of all the things we've shared and seen - Don't think about the things which might have been. Think of me, think of me waking, silent and resigned. Imagine me, trying too hard to put you from my mind. Recall those days, look back on all those times, think of the things we'll never do - There will never be a day, when I won't think of you.” The next verse was his favourite, mainly because of the diversity of sounds he had to make on the ‘oh’ at the end. “Flowers fade, the fruits of summer fade. They have their seasons, so do we. But, please, promise me that sometimes you will think of me.” When he stopped singing, he closed his eyes and sighed, then opened his eyes again and looked at Liam with a big smile on his face.
Liam nodded slowly. "I think I know that one actually. I'd love it." He closed his eyes again and the smile on his face grew wider as Dorian began to sing. He had the most beautiful voice, and it felt like it was overtaking every one of Liam's senses. He sighed happily, opening his eyes and gazing fondly at Dorian for a little while, until he finished the song. "That was beautiful, Dor ..." He whispered, leaning in and planting a soft, lingering kiss to Dorian's lips in thanks.
Dorian was not expecting Liam’s kiss, but he cupped his cheek with one of his hands so he could kiss Liam back. When he pulled away, he looked down, a little embarrassed, but with a silly smile on his face. “Did you really like it?” Maybe it was too soon to admit it out loud, but Dorian chose that song also because he could imagine Liam and him there. He wanted the boy to think of him whenever possible and he knew he would already spend a lot of time thinking about Liam, mainly when he was back at Uniontown with his family, spending Christmas without him. This made Dorian think why Liam grew so much in so little time for him, but he was not going to complain. He was happy and he hoped Liam was as well.
Liam smiled softly. "Are you kidding me? You have the voice of an angel." He whispered sincerely, closing his eyes and humming gently to himself for a few moments. "I've always loved the lyrics to that song too. They're so moving."
Dorian giggled at the compliment, blushing. He lowered his head, but kept looking at Liam. “Thank you.” He whispered, not knowing what else to say. Dorian nodded then. “I think so too. Granted, The Phantom of the Opera is one of my favourite musicals.” He shrugged, lying on the bed once again, looking at Liam. “Do you want me to play with your hair so you can sleep?” His mom used to do it with Dorian when he was about to sleep so he knew how good it felt and he wanted to make sure Liam would enjoy their time together.
Liam opened his eyes wide at the mention of having his hair stroked. Secretly it was just about the most heavenly thing in the world to him, but he didn't want Dorian to think that he was boring him by just falling asleep while they were meant to be on a date. "I ... well, I'd honestly love that. But that'd be so ignorant of me, falling asleep on you like that." He frowned sadly.
Dorian shook his head with a fond smile on his face. “I don’t mind. Unless you want to go out and do something else?” He tilted his head to the side and pondered a little. “If we stay here on the bed we’ll probably feel sleepy. If we go out, we’ll have to walk and maybe we’ll be more awake?” He really didn’t mind what they were going to do, unless they spent time together., so whatever Liam thought it was better, they should as well do it.
Liam pulled a face, not wanting to have to make the decision for them. "I ... think I wanna sleep. That's really bad, isn't it? I'm just so comfy here, and you feel so good lying next to me ... and you smell really nice ... and I'm seriously sleep-deprived. But now I feel like I ruined our date."
Dorian smiled and hugged Liam close. “You didn’t, really. I can continue watching the movie or even take a nap myself.” At that, he chuckled. He was not sleepy, but he wouldn’t go anywhere if Liam didn’t want him to. He also didn’t mind in just stay there with the boy in his arms. In fact, being able to cuddle Liam while the boy sleeps is actually quite endearing, and Dorian would love to continue right there. “Or do you want me to leave?”
"Honest truth?" Liam asked with a hopeful smile. "I'd love for you to stay right here, stroke my hair, and just be with me for a while. That would be absolute heaven for me right now. I just didn't want to keep you from doing other stuff ... I'm always gonna prefer that you were here than not though."
Dorian beamed at Liam’s words. How could he be so cute? “Good. Because I’d rather stay here too.” And, saying so, Dorian lifted one of his hands to stroke Liam’s hair. He continued to look at Liam’s face, trying to memorize each and every line, colour and freckle. Liam was beautiful and Dorian felt so lucky in being there he could barely contain in himself all his joy. “Is it good that way?” Dorian tried to do what his mom used to do with him, but it had been years, and maybe and angle was not right, but he was trying.
Liam groaned happily, the noises coming out of him close to orgasmic. "Oh god, /yes/." He sighed, rolling his head slightly into Dorian's touch as if to encourage him to push further into his hair. "Mmmm - you're a miracle worker, Dor."
Dorian blushed hard and widened his eyes. He stopped for a second to play with Liam’s hair, too enthralled by the noises and what they were making to him, but then he resumed the stroke, not wanting Liam to notice. Not believing in his voice, Dorian only hummed and bit his lower lip, continuing to run his hands through the boy’s hair.
Liam was so relaxed and contented that he didn't realise how wanton the noises he was making were, but he couldn't help but let them out. A light smattering of goosebumps was now gracing his skin, but he was still very tired and he could feel himself being gently lulled to sleep by Dorian's touch. "Love this." He whispered sleepily. "You're perfect."
Dorian bit harder on his lower lip and closed his eyes. It wasn’t fair the noises Liam was making. To prevent himself from moaning, Dorian hid his face on Liam’s neck again, and let a long and warm breath escape him. “’M not perfect.” Dorian murmured, still not trusting his voice. He didn’t stop to play with Liam’s hair, fascinated at the responses. He knew Liam was almost asleep, but the noises were still making him move his legs closed to make sure he wasn’t going to touch Liam and wake him up in an inconvenient way.
