Got any plans for Saturday, Precious?
The Kiss ll Liam + River
River stood outside of Black Rain, rubbing his sweaty palms across his back pockets. “You got this, Riv. You’ve kissed people before. Maybe not a vampire, but you’ve kissed people.” He muttered to himself, building up his courage to march right into the club, find Liam and kiss that beautiful mouth of his. This was his one chance to finally make the move he had been holding back on making. Rejection was a monster of a fear to face. Liam could have anyone he wanted and River was just some average human with not much going for him, except skateboarding. Why would he think that the striking vampire would want his time wasted on a loser like River? He shook his head and cursed himself for allowing his negative thoughts to get the best of him. Liam wanted this. He wanted River to kiss him. There was no reason to fear the possible sting of rejection anymore.
Giving himself one last mini pep talk, River walked up to the club entrance and showed his ID to the bouncers before stepping into Black Rain. The music was already booming in River’s ears as he pushed his way through the thick crowd. People were dancing, laughing and drinking all around him. But River only had his sights on one thing. The dance floor. That was where Liam would be, so that was where River would go. His heartbeat fluttered in his chest like a pair of hummingbird wings, beating faster and faster with each he took. River pushed past a grinding couple and swallowed anxiously when his eyes finally settled on the immortal redhead. “You got this.” The shy skater smiled at Liam and waved. He looked down at his black button dress shirt, black jeans and black and white Vans, hoping he appeared somewhat cool and attractive. He had only spent about an hour trying to get his hair looking right, and River never usually cared about that kind of thing. The younger male leaned in towards Liam ear, trying to talk over the music. “H-Hi. Glad I-I found you.”

How Could I Forget ll Liam + River
River stood in front of the house that Liam lived in, nervously wiping his sweaty palms against his jeans. His heart was pumping at full speed in his chest, not exactly the best thing to have when hanging around a vampire. The skater was still questioning why he had agreed to this. He was intrigued by the striking looking vampire. There was just something about his physical appearance that left River slightly speechless. As beautiful as the redhead may have been, River still feared him. From what he had observed, Liam seemed like a decent person who liked to have a good time. That was only on the surface. Liam could be putting up a front to lure naive humans for his own use for all River knew. He sent a text to Forrest and told him he was hanging out with a friend named Liam in Magnolia Hill. At least Forrest would have some clues if something happened to his little brother again.
He smoothed down the front of his blue and green flannel and tossed back a few loose curls hanging over his forehead, taking deep and calming breaths. He rose his hand to the door and froze. He could still run away, but Liam knew his full name. What if he got pissed that River ditched him and hunted the skater down? Or worse, what if he went after Forrest? Without another thought, River knocked maybe a little too eagerly against Liam’s door. There was no going back now.
