WARNING THIS IS A HEARTFELT HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOTE TO MY QUEEN
well,
So get this, a year ago today my robotics team and I filmed a little Happy Birthday video for Libby Kamen. It was cute ok. The coming weeks were hard for her, but we won't discuss that at this time.
A little bit later on, I was probably going through the roughest patch of my life, and Libby was right there with me, supporting me, and being caring. At the time I needed a friend most, she was right there. There are zero words to explain how much her support meant to me. In the coming months, she became one of my greatest friends. After qualifying for champs:
My friend Stella and I were probably happiest about being able to meet Libby, and created the Kamen Crew, a powerful underground dance battle group that strives to fangirl over Libby Kamen:
Libby is seriously my main inspiration, and she very well deserves to be. People are bitches to her sometimes, but haters goin' hate (and if that means they're gonna hate me too, so be it). I love her dearly. She's 1/2 of the captains on my biggest ship (cough), she gives the best advice (including to my never ending boy drama because I'm all over the place), and can brighten my day with just a single message.
Libby, I love you. Happy fucking Birthday, woman.
