Believe in Linen
This makes me feel a deep connection with the product. Great example of what a tagline should be like!

Coffee
I have to say that I would not be a big fan of coffee if it weren’t for the memories. I remember being four years old and watching my grandmothers prepare some every morning. I am not sure if it was like that for everyone else in Mexico, but at home, it was more milk and sugar than actual coffee.
I recall how the warmth and the smell enveloped the house in cold winter mornings. Now, with every cup - whether at our apartment in Singapore or in the office - I think of those two ladies, their checkered aprons and the loving way they brought me up. That is the real value of things.

Libeco Napoli Vintage Blanket
Café Noir. The name of the colour alone sold me on this blanket. Of course, I had an affinity for Belgian linen to begin with.
While you may find linen in many places at our home, I had been searching for something larger that would keep us company on the couch, in bed and maybe on the occasional flight. Turns out this was way bigger than I imagined.
I would never think about cutting it to a different size, but I did consider whether I should return it. It was then that I had a vision of it hanging on the wall at our future store. I can’t wait to turn that into a reality.

Stone Objects
How is it possible that things like free plastic bowls help sell boxes of cereal? I always have a hard time understanding what people consider valuable.
These objects are some of my most prized possessions. Unique and irreplaceable, they represent a state of mind that cost me a lot to achieve. I am very proud of them.

Belgian Linen Blanket
I used to enjoy buying things. In the past five years, it has become harder to find something that remotely resembles what I am looking for. This has pushed me into commissioning, and sometimes making, things instead. It is actually the reason why I started casa ung in the first place!
I found this length of Belgian linen in the perfect shade of brown for the blanket that I always wanted. As with anything else, more than the item, it is the journey that is most meaningful to me.
