okay okay okay theres a LOT of strong contenders and it really depends on what exactly about them you want to highlight but puppet loosely strung by the correspondents is just TOO perfect to pass up.
ignoring the whole symbolism with the puppet thing. the fact is this song is this whole ass song is about admiring the wrong. the depraved. the fucked up. libel (given they're the singer and the person the singer's talking about is TPM) is admiring TPM for the same shit that the rest of the world's rejected them for.
The song frames TPM as like... a stray dog? In most people's eyes? Scary, broken, wrong. But Libel's fucking ENAMORED
like theres even a part saying how people would think Libel's the more stable/capable/less scary one here and Libel just argues "this guy could crush me like a tin can & i have no house you all just don't like TPM" ("They just couldn't see / That it was me needing you, not you needing me")
