Day 1 of @dbhrarepairs week: Library/Bookstore w/ Connor x Seiji (from the DBH:Tokyo Stories side manga^^)

I imagine this is post-best ending w/ Deviant Connor and post manga canon where Seiji left Hanazawa’s bar in Nakamura and Suzune’s hands and went to Detroit/ New Jericho for treatment & to start anew. While he is exploring a newly opened library, Connor notices him and may have developed a slight curiosity of this new android who should be a discontinued model ;)

Just at the local library bookstore and these young looking girls (maybe late teens / maybe early 20 somethings) were being all touchy feely / holding each other looking at everything there. One of them excitedly yelled out, "Bae, look at all these books and get how many books you want! These prices are soooo good!" The books there cost $1-2. I wish I had someone with me like that when I was that age. Heck I wish I had somebody with me excited like that now. Very cute to see!

Vern Dale of Ferndale Signed Original Comic Strip Art AND Preliminary Sketch - Second Appearance In Ferndale Friends Magazine!

I write and illustrate the comic strip "Vern Dale of Ferndale" for Ferndale Friends magazine which circulates monthly to 17,000+ homes in southeast Michigan. Up for sale is my original artwork for Vern's second appearance in the May 2016 issue! Vern visits a different Ferndale area business in each issue. Here, he's standing within Library Bookstore. I created these illustrations using a fine tip pen on sketch pad paper. The three story panels are on a separate sheet of paper from the title panel. The sheet with the story measures approximately 8-1/2" x 3-1/2". The sheet of paper with the title panel measures approximately 3" x 3-1/2". The color image above shows how this comic will appear in Ferndale Friends magazine. I have signed and dated the reverse side of the title panel. I'm also including in this lot the preliminary sketches for Vern's second appearance. This illustration is on a single sheet of paper measuring 6" x 2-3/8".
