Today was a county staff day which went well once I found out where it was actually held (full disclosure: I may or may not have almost broken into a secured Delta Airlines Building). I wish it didn’t seem so impossible to actually be a for-real-librarian-with-the-job-title as a career b/c they are exactly my kind of people, honestly, though I was taken aback at the amount of public knitting by panel attendees.

I know that she didn't mean to undo your work, and she's going to feel bad, but at the same time, I think you might want to tell her because you don't want her to risk making the same mistake again?

I’m thinking about it... I’m just hesitant because it’s not likely to happen again regardless and it wasn’t really her “fault.” (She did something perfectly normal that wouldn’t have made any problem except for supremely terrible and unusual timing that was on the level of a British situational comedy skit.)

She is also very shy & English isn’t her native language, so sometimes her confidence gets rattled. If I tell her about it I want to do it so that she doesn’t take it too hard or think that I’m upset with her. :T

I had a dream last night that I was a professor and I was teaching a wilderness survival-esque book by some guy named "Paul Weston" (in my mind I thought of him as Gary Paulsen) and all I remember is telling my students that some of his favorite things were "the femoral artery and dogs"
