Today I'll be talking about the label lesbian

What is lesbian?
Pretty much everyone knows the answer already but yeaah. So a mistake I see ton of people make is saying that lesbian means women loving women which sure it's part of it BUT it's non men loving non men. Enbys were always accepted and part of lesbian spaces so basically if you're a non man that's attracted sexually and or romantic to non men congrats you can use this term. Any gender that is masculine aligned like demiboy,boyflux ect can't be lesbian however a lots of people seem to be thinking that genderfluid people shouldn't be lesbians however lots of people seem to believe that genderfluid people shouldn't be using the term which is wrong. The reason for that is that genderfluid people can be masculine at times and there definitely are some that do identify as mostly masculine but non the less they are still in mostly in the non binary umbrella and therefore get to use this label.

This is the most used lesbian flag and is completely valid and acceptable
Lipstick flag

I wasn't able to find any explanation for the colors however this flag is mainly feminine and excludes trans women and butches from what I heard people say it's alright to use without the lipstick which is then called the all pink flag however that opinion is different for everyone. Personally I don't mind the all pink flag that much but I will see it as a small sign
Labrys flag

The purple represent cisgender women so here we have another trans phobic flag. The black triangle was used by the nazis in concentration camps for "anti social behavior" aka homosexuality. The only good thing about the flag must be the labrys itself since it's a sign of feminism, so as you can see that fact that the flag was designed by a man isn't the only issue I also have heard that it's stereotypically.
Once again people claim that this flag is valid if the traingle is removed however even then it's still against trans women
Lesbian symbols
As for the double Venus and the scissors I don't think I have to explain but here are the others
Violets : violets were mentioned in many of the Greek poet sappho's poet's, Sappho was a poet that wrote over women and much she loves them
Carabineer : carabiners are used to hint to people that you are lesbian, lesbian would put they carabiners on their pants, right means bottom, lefts means top and middle means switch
Labrys : associated because of the labrys flag and since it's a symbol for feminism
Lamba : though lesser known the Greek letter lamba is internationally symbol for gay and lesbian rights
Lesbian terms
Reminder that you don't have to fit into these terms. You are valid no matter what "kind of lesbian" you are and it's okay to not Wanna be put in these categories
wlw = women loving women
Nmlnm = non men loving non men
Butch = masculine lesbian that pretty much completely push away femininity
Fem = lesbian that dress and or express themselves in feminine ways
Masc = lesbians that dress and or express themselves in masculine ways
Pillow princess = a lesbian that is only interested in receiving pleasure and not giving it in bed
ChapStick : a ChapStick lesbian is a lesbian who is low maintenance on her looks
