I've listened to everything Frank has remotely been around but I've not listened to Bloodnun. What's their sound, what's it like? I'm afraid of jumping in headfirst because it's a Frank project why wouldn't I be?
It’s um. Black Metal. It’s a lot of heavy distorted deep vocal screaming with very fast fuzzed up metal music. It’s super sexy in that at the beginnings and ends of some of the songs there are audio clips from movies or radio shows performing dark religion and all that iconography (left hands, choosing hate, etc, no explicit mentions of satan I don’t think). It’s only five songs long and you can find them on YouTube? I think but I also have a google drive file with them if you need that.
You ever think there was a kerrang writer/interviewer who had to stop an interview with Gerard and go into the next room and just stomp around, release that pent up sexual frustration because Gerard blew some other guy to get something but not them. (There was like an interview where the guy asked Gerard what he did to get an interview and it just when silent then someone made slurping noises in the back)

I love the idea of a non-haunted haunted house. A house not abandoned because it's angry third party, a house actively trying to push humanity away because it's own bitterness. The house is leproed and angry but it doesn't attack outright because it can't, it changes. Staircases with too short steps that lead to walls, a cupboard being bigger on the inside than out, rooms that didn't exist suddenly appearing out of thin air. I know it isn't fic related but I wanted to share, Mars rant over.

Can I just say I love how you call your records your girls it's honestly adorable. I've started to collect records a few years ago (nothing super special because we low on funds and don't want my family to buy any one thing super expensive) and they're my babies along with my watercolours
🥺 Aw thank you, I genuinely have this, emotional attachment to them, sometimes I just sit and look at them I love them so much. I have this nice littol cupboard for them that my record player sits on top of and it’s almost like a happy place? I sit by it a lot and just hang out or play on my phone. Something about collecting records, the rhythm of playing one, the colors, the music of course, is just so soothing for me. I love hearing about other people’s record collections too, they are truly babies; fragile, handle them carefully, and they make a lot of noise.
