there's heaven, there's hell, and then there's research || +libraryofsinners
Every hunter had his or her schtick. Georgia's was normally finding a building or a tree to perch on and waiting for the monsters to come by. Normally, that plan went awry as soon as she set it into motion, but she liked to think that someday her high-ground approach would work.
No matter what the main theme of hunting style was, however, there was one thing that hunters could not escape, even if they tried: research. That had never been Georgia's strong point. Sure, she could see patterns and see how things connected but that was as far as she was normally willing to go with research. Hell, even in culinary school she'd been more prone to research by eating cake and food than reading about it (much to the chagrin of her instructors).
That was where Kari came in.
Georgia was standing on the woman's porch, holding a tray of cupcakes, and banging on the door, trying to get the woman's attention away from whatever she was working on at the moment. "C'mon Kari, I know you're in there! I have cake!" Still nothing. "Don't make me break in!" It didn't help that she'd been driving most of the day and was fueled mostly by a combination of sugar and caffeine that she called coffee but the average person would consider hummingbird food.
