Angelhood - What is one of your favorite memories? when my family was visiting pakistan and on the first night all of my family with my cousins sat on the roof of the house on those wiry bed things idk what they’re called and my great grandma (par nanoo) told us a bunch of stories

Wait, what racist undertones did the show have? I didn't really notice anything, idk, the characters and their roles seem pretty diverse?

theres more to racism than just lack of diversity. ive only watched part of s1 but my biggest contention is with how pearl, the only gem that can be read as white, and the thinnest, gets a LOT of positive attention, and even at times if not posi attention, shes still getting more episodes centered on her, plus shes portrayed as the most delicate gem (as in behavior) whereas garnet and amethyst, the two black coded gems, are seen as Tough and Dirty/Rude and when they fuse theyre literally explicitly coded as Savage while pearl-fusions (Opal??) are again just graceful and mostly lithe and Collected

Haha, yeah, it's strange to think that any fruit can be cooked that way, I guess I was just used to it, because growing up, we literally ate bananas in sooo many ways lol.

because of that i was surprised, i only ate them cold as fruit uncooked but its nice to know it
