I’m a CLEDS sufferer myself (Type 2) which is a very fun time :P By fun, I mean that I spend most of my time craving the release of sleep. And baths. Lots of baths

Hi! I hope you don't take offence to this because it's really not meant like that and I love your blog! But if you put gifs with the imagines it'd be really great! It just makes me visualise the scenario better, even if it doesn't quite fit. I know you're not that active anymore but this account is incredible!! There's so many imagines and there's hardly any for Garrett on tumblr!

Also, hi brain fog (do you know her?), I haven’t met many people with EDS before either! I have online and a couple of my doctors have it (which is super helpful) but you don’t come across it very often. Do you have any of the other related conditions (PoTS etc.)?

I had to google what POTS is, and it seems like it’s when you get a sudden spike in heart rate when you stand up that makes everything starry - which I do have, but always just assumed it’s because I’m 5ft 11 and built like a bean

I have a few co-morbid conditions that go along with CLEDS that are very very not fun. Big divots in my teeth, a weirdly arranged mouth, digestive issues. If I’m honest though, a lot of people I talk to about EDS seem to have a weirdly good grasp on all of the names of conditions they have co-morbidity with and stuff - I’ve never really thought about it too much. Like, I’ve known I’ve had it since I was very little, and so I don’t think about it much. I don’t like online groups that talk about it because the information there always feels weirdly scare-tacticy, like it’s full of people going “HELP IS THIS A SYMPTOM?!” and I just don’t vibe with it

It’s part of my life, I think about CLEDS like maybe once a week, I manage myself well and I do my own thing. Most people IRL don’t know I have it and I don’t mind keeping it that way, not out of shame, but because like...it doesn’t tell anyone anything about who I am
