Lilly you’re so cruel to me… I actually sat on this for a while because it’s just not particularly something I think about xD Licht is a character who I affectionately refer to as a shipping rock—
Lessee… Well, to begin with, one thing I know for sure: Licht would respect Misono’s dedication. He might not be the most confident, tending to bluster and posture, but when it comes to his goals? There’s a level of tenacity that could light a fire in anyone’s heart. Misono’s innocent loyalty to his friends is another quite “angelic” aspect I think Licht could find himself drawn to (also Yamane makes some slamming cookies)
Meanwhile, for Misono… Licht is surefooted and seemingly unshakeable. He might not be the best at listening or following directions, but… He’s by no means incompetent when it comes to his tactical instincts, for a number of applications. The way Licht doesn’t care about how others perceive him, instead choosing to remain true to himself and his ideals, is something I think Misono would want to emulate in his own actions.
There’s also something to be said about a possible shared childhood loneliness. Misono and Licht, although surrounded by love, never seemed to have a particularly easy time connecting to their peers until meeting the other Eves. There’s a special kind of companionship to be found in a person who shared the same struggles you did. I also think Licht would be quite good at helping Misono find himself a creative hobby to enjoy. We know he’s not good at sports, dancing, or traditional arts, but… Misono strikes me as a character who would be a phenomenal writer! Tje major thing stopping Misono is probably the thought that he’s not creative enough to be any good, but there’s so many different ways to express your thoughts…
Not to mention, Licht isn’t the type to pity or judge if Misono hasn’t hit a milestone or done an activity normal for people his age, or if he gets excited over something basic and mundane. Also like. The Alicein have a stable. I NEED Misono showing Licht how to care for and ride horses now wwww. I think it would make Misono feel so damn good to be able to show one of his friends how to perform a skill and also to see the wonder shining on Licht’s face as he brushes down his horse. Super cute, right??
