Information about the LIC Initial Public Offering (IPO): The much-anticipated IPO will commence on 4 May 2022 (2 May 2022 for anchor investors) and close on 9 May 2022 for the general public, according to LIC officials speaking at a press conference on April 27, 2022. It will list on stock exchanges on May 17, 2022. In India's largest public offering to date, the government-owned insurance firm is selling around 22.13 crore shares at a price range of Rs. 902 to Rs. 949 per share. In total, the IPO is worth Rs 21,000 crore. Policyholders will get a Rs. 60 per share discount, while retail employees and anchor investors will get a Rs. 45 discount.
