Beautiful red lacquer round basket with lid, made of wood/bamboo/rattan. It has a black string for hanging. There is hand written script on the top of the lid, and on four sides of the basket. The base is a wood square painted black and it has carved flowers on four sides. I’m not sure what this item is exactly, or what country it came from. The writing doesn’t look Chinese, might be Vietnamese?
