THIS IS SUPER OLD BUT NODDING OFF (sender falls asleep on receiver's shoulder) FOR BLANKY FROM THE MONGOOSE
It was entirely unclear how much time had passed since Thomas had come to visit Jopson and Crozier. It was one of his first excursions through the ship on the contraption used in lieu of a left leg, seeing as his had been mangled and quite ceremoniously sawed off--
--God bless Macca, honestly--
--but per the dutiful steward's insistence, Francis had gone to sleep. Thomas was not about to just leave though, and he'd asked the lad if he might stay and keep them company while Francis had his rest.
Now here they both were, trying to stay warm next to the dying embers of a stove, and Thomas felt the soft fwump of an absolutely knackered lad finally getting some rest of his own. Feeling the bright flare of fatherly affection, Thomas smiled and shifted where he sat, carefully, so as not to wake him, and he settled in, knowing he'd be here a while longer.
