Manda, her words were tempting.
But he had a duty to fulfill, for better or for worse, and as light as the Darksabre felt on his hip, that didn’t keep the weight of it from being any less daunting.
Grogu giggled as he was nuzzled, letting out a coo as he pat Shara’s face. And the Mandalorian, realising he’d been non-responsive too long, ended up shaking his head.
“I... can try visiting more.” He certainly wanted to. Grogu was always so happy to see him. But his obligations no longer allowed for him to be by the little one’s side at all times, and by Creed, the Child was no longer in his care.
Head turning slightly, the Mandalorian caught a glimpse of the Jedi in the middle of a gaggle of mini-Jedi, and remembered: Grogu was now in his care.
“But I’ve been quested with reclaiming my people’s home.” His fingers brushed the hilt of the deactivated blade at his hip, his helm tilting down somewhat. “...I don’t know that I can help with any of this Jedi stuff, anyway.”
