Life & Death are endlessly tied together, never separated. One is not without the other, synonymously balanced on a scale that affects everyone and everything.

In Fall and Winter, you are in his seasons; his kingdom. Simon is death, he is the one who rules over the court, the months of Fall and Winter.

In Spring and Summer, he is in your seasons; your dwelling of warmth. In Spring and Summer, he will follow you back into the court you rule over.

Life & Death, tied together. Bound by marriage and duty, to each other and the roles you are given.

what would the surprise new series be?

It would be one of two options

Life, Continued (title work in progress) where Simon is Death personified and he rules over fall and winter, and reader is Life who rules over spring and summer

At the end of summer she leaves the spring and summer behind land joins the kingdom(s) Simon rules over. Because they’re life and death they’re eternally tied together, he is the King and she is his Queen

For half the year she is with him in his kingdom(s), and for the other half he is in hers

Or the second option would be knights!Ghoap x handmaiden!Reader

Eternally Yours, where reader is the handmaiden for the Queen and is the only desire for the noble knights heading into retirement. The King asks what they would like to receive for their years of service and they say her

The handmaiden is whisked away from the castle and her duties as servant for the queen, given her own estate to, essentially, rule over. She is innocent, naive to anything relationship wise with any man, let alone two, and they have to show her what marriage/intimacy (not necessarily sexual) is going to be like for her
